I hired Honey Do Services to replace my storm door and this is the worst job I have ever seen. I can see large gaps from inside my home, the door doesn't even close because the latch doesn't align correctly, there's exposed "nails ", etc. I was given a guarantee of satisfaction from the get go and paid the deposit. I contacted the owner and she was very disrespectful and rude and basically called me a liar. The lack of customer service from a company who has a 100% guarantee on their website is not acceptable!! I will now be out even more money to get this done correctly and have not even received the deposit back and was told by the owner that I wouldn't. Very rude, unprofessional, and left me in worse condition than it was prior to the "work" (or should I say lack of work) that they preformed.

**** ******** had a storm door for her front door she wanted installed.  Her home is a modular home and she bought a regular door .  She was told we would have to modify  the outside to make it fit.     The old metal frame was removed and the new was attached the same way after cutting some the siding to get the old off and new on.  A piece of siding was cracked  and it was replaced with a new piece at our expense. The work on the door was exterior only.  We did nothing the inside of the house.   She was complaining about seeing light inside the house so the craftsman said the could fil with insulation as a courtesy A new threshold would be made too due to the length of the door at bottom.   When they left the day before the door was on and operable. They even put new  wider trim up cover the gap that was to be sealed.  As they were working, she brought in another guy and he was in the way as we were trying to work.  She refused to let us put in the insulation that had nothing to do with the door we installed  for we only worked on the outside.  The door was latching fine the day before and we they left the second day.  The man who was there was touching the door and had a leaf blower.  He would not move and she was being hateful to my guys.
They called me and I told them to leave.  What the man did to the door , we have no idea.  It was installed as best as we could not being a mobile home door, but we were not allowed to finished the outside sealing because she had the guy in their way.  Once we left, We do not know what he did to it, or what was done after we left the first day.   She did call me and said the whole door frame inside and out fell off, but would not seen me pictures.  We only worked on the outside of the house. I  asked her about the man that was there and we left because he was in the way pulling the door and poking  at it with a screw driver.  I did tell her we would not be back to complete it because he had tampered with it.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
I was not told that they would have to modify the door. I had asked all 3 if the door would work and If not I would take it back and get another one and they all said no it would work. I had a friend come because the worker was being rude. My friend did nothing to the door but look at it and tell them how it was wrong. He had the blower to show them that the air was coming through the frame of my door to the inside of my house. The reason they built a frame around it was because they tore my siding up so much and they had to hide the broken siding. The whole right side of my frame is not attached which is why it's moving.

    Sincerely,

The old frame that was removed  from the outside of the house was from the previous door as shown in the before picture.  The new frame was installed that came with the new door (as shown in the pictures)as she was told several time before, and during the job, the outside opening would have to be modified.  Yes, the siding had to be cut, the cracked piece was replaced, New door trim was installed to cover the cut siding  and the gap due to the modification with the intentions of caulking  to seal it which she would not allow us to do.  We never cut anything inside the home. Work was stopped due to her not allowing us to do our work and the man in our way.  The door was not falling off and was latching fine when we left both days.  This is a modular home that does not have the same size of doors of a standard house and she was clearly made aware of and told we could make it work with modifications if needed.  I still have to pay my guys for putting the door up. but I will be gladly  give her  deposit back  to end this.

    Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:

I am currently having to have someone else come and give me a quote on what its going to take to fix their mistakes so I'm not sure what that is going to cost me on top of the despot I already gave them.  This is going to cost me even more money. I didn't tell anyone to leave. She told them to leave after her worker came in my house to look at all the cracks around the frame. They were trying to put black strips down the right side and even with those you could still see the lights coming in my house so what he was doing wasn't working and I told him something else had to be done. The right side was never attached properly which is why it's moving.
