On Friday, 1/23/2023 Vanguard Utility Service was hired by San Antonio Water Systems (SAWS) to install the new meters. Vanguard Utility failed to make sure the system had been installed properly. Only 3 days after the switch I had an issue with the pipes. I have lived in this home for two years and NOT ONCE have I had issues. The incompetent Vanguard worker that made the switch failed to add glue to the PVC pipes. Which consequently leads to a leak. A leak I was able to catch in time, the water had to be shut off. I called SAWS to see what had happened. SAWS were not able to help at all. I had to call a plumber to check the system. I ended up with an invoice over $500. I have tried to reach out to the company for several weeks now no response. I tried to reach out to a, Becky Tillis Vanguard Utility Service It has been over a month and no response from anyone. I was not the only one that had an issue with this company. Many of my neighbors did too.
