A church member told us about this company in Scottsville, Ky that was close to where we lived. Called and found out that they can help us get lumber from Boise. We put our order in, I mailed the check with shipping info and when we will need the lumber. We received the first shipment and noticed that the I joists looked like they set outside for a while, but we didn't have time to take them back which was my mistake. The next shipment were 2 LVL 24" 36ft which looked old, dark and cracked with tar on them.
Thank God my mother was there to tell them to send the LVLs back because if taken off the truck I could not return them!!!  Called Dustin the sales rep about the LVLs and their condition. He had the most stupid excuses, but was offered a refund because they didn't know when they would be able to ship more LVLs. I requested a refund as anyone would for the LVLs. Found out by Boise that the only lumber they delivered to coles lumber company was 5 i joist which were 36ft.
Then was told by Dustin that he had to look elsewhere because of the short time line we gave them, but they were sent to Boise to be cut!? Dustin didn't contact me to atleast give me the option to either wait for Boise to have the lumber or just tell me they want to buying our lumber elsewhere.
There goal is not to provide customers with quality building materials, but to make as much money off you by providing  the lowest grade lumber they can find!! If you want Boise lumber, please go to Lowe's because they shipped the LVLs the next week with no problems after coles old LVLs were sent back.
