    My compliant is this: my ac needed replaced. The guy charged me for 4 lbs of freon knowing there was a leak. I needed a new unit not someone putting freon in to be leaked back out and especially for me to be charged 360 for it. I will pay the service call for him to come out, the $90 service fee for an hour, but I did not authorize for him to put that freon in.

    I called Lusby and requested a HVAC quote in September 2021. A unit was ordered in early November 2021.

    Lusby installed a garage hanging heater spring of 2022 but could not finish the job and it’s now October 2022. I called for weeks and they would not return my call. I finally got in touch with ****** (owner) and he indicated he would meet me on a scheduled day but again didn’t show up. I have called since and they won’t return the call or finish the job.

    I have responsibilities for multiple manufacturing plants throughout the Midwest and a couple homes. The lack of professionalism and follow up at Luzby is disappointing.

    After the initial ****** review in October 2022 Lusby called me and scheduled unit hook up. Lusby did not confirm a installation date so I called them to confirm. I talked to Lois Lusby and she said ****** Lusby was in the office she would get him on the phone. I heard her tell ****** I was on the phone and ****** said to tell ***** he wasn’t in the office. She replied I’ve already told him you are here. ****** answered the phone but did not appear to be coordinated on the final installation details.

    On November 8, 2022 Lusby installed inside gas line, exhaust vent and thermostat wiring. ****** indicated they would call BUD the next day and have outside utilities marked so they could install a short run of underground gas line. To date, the gas line has not been installed and Lusby will not return my calls with an update.

    Lusby provides good craftsmanship but is extremely unreliable on work scheduling and execution of a project. This project was confirmed in November of 2021 and its now December 11, 2022
    with no heat established in the garage/barn.
