July 1,2024 I paid My 3 Sons to move my furniture and boxes. They charged me around 900. Upon arriving to my house the movers did not want to move the heavy stuff. One of the movers said let the neighbor move the dumbbells. He also commented we could put the small stuff in the van ourselves. They did not load the truck correctly leaving space between the items . So I could not get all my belongings in the truck. I left items at neighbors houses and had to make several trips to bring it all back to new house. . When the second group of movers unpacked the truck they asked who loaded this truck like this. I said your group did it. I was told they could hook up my washer by the company and the workers. After they left I noticed leakage of water down the drywall and floors on my brand new house. I called the contractor. He said they did not hook up the washer correctly. I called and talked to the company. She said they are not plumbers and we don’t give any type of refunds at all. We are not responsible for the workers. I find that hard to believe you are not responsible for your own workers. I told her the workers should not hook up washers if they don’t know how to do so properly. They refused to take responsibility for their actions. Very disappointed. No one should have to pay for a service that terrible. They refuse to offer any money back for the mess they made. I would rather someone tell me they can’t hook something up if they can’t do it correctly. Very bad service and refuse to do anything to rectify the situation. I just hope they don’t get a chance to mess someone else’s stuff up. I trusted them and they completely lost that trust. I was also promised a call back the next day after they had a “meeting”. No call back yet. That was a week ago. She commented don’t “bash us on reviews until I get back with you”. Apparently they don’t want anyone to know how they treat people.

On Tuesday, May 28th, 2024, I had My Three Sons Moving booked to move myself and my fiance from our two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment into a trailer located 16 minutes away. I booked with My Three Sons via email and have copies of them. I told the customer service agent that I was moving from a two-bed, two-bath apartment on the third floor of an apartment complex, and that I had a few items that may be particularly heavy or difficult to move, such as a 72-inch TV, some dressers, and a dryer. We were given an estimate which we signed that stated the cost of the move was estimated to be between $465 and $565. Upon arrival the day of the move, the movers expressed dismay that there were more than 8 items total that needed to be moved. They explained that they were not given the proper equipment to move our entire apartment out and that the truck they were given was too small to fit everything in it. It took the movers 6 hours total to move everything with no dollies or a ramp to get items up into the truck. They also took items out and rearranged them multiple times in an attempt to get everything to fit. Nothing was wrapped or protected. Most boxes were carried out one at a time due to the lack of a dolly. The movers had to make two trips to get all of our items to our new house, a single-wide trailer. A second estimate was sent in the middle of the move which is currently the only estimate I can access. I felt I had to sign it as the movers were halfway through the moving process. The end cost for services ended up being an astronomical $1,032.84. When we called to complain and ask why our movers were sent unprepared we were told that we should have informed the company of an inventory of every single item that needed to be moved. I asked why this "requirement" was not asked of me beforehand and received no substantial answer. I am seeking a partial refund for the money spent due to this business's ineptitude.

Moved on 8/25/2023 I spent 8/7-8/25 communicating almost daily via text or photos to ensure as smooth a move as possible. The night before the move I got a message- “I just noticed there are no boxes/totes on the inventory, how many did you want me to add on there?…” We had already spoken at length over the phone regarding each room. I even asked how they would like the boxes packed (cardboard vs tote, light vs heavy) and was told it was up to me and to pack however I thought would take less trips. So I had no reason to count boxes and totes or think they were missing on the quote. Even after a walk through the morning of the move they said they still thought 1 truck would work. At this point our quote was for $1800-2000 and 5-6hrs. After 1 truck was completely loaded they decided to get a second truck. The move took 10hrs which included several hours where the crew from the first truck was waiting stagnant for the second truck and my mother in law made 2 trips to our old home (4hrs driving) with a trailer to help speed the process. Every box was labeled per room and the workers had instructions to deliver them to each room. 90% of boxes and totes were left in the garage. I was told this was a manager decision to cut down on timing since the move was taking so long. Our front porch furniture which was photographed and included in the inventory quote was left behind. We had to go back to move it on our own a few weeks later. We followed their policy for damages to our new home and furniture and still haven’t heard anything 4months later. I have called the company almost 10 times to discuss these issues. I have gone to their office and spoken in person with the office manager. She took notes during our meeting and assured me she would look into the issues and call me back. I was given an apology but no attempts have been made to repair damages done or right any wrongs. We still haven’t been able to get any further information from them.
