    My daughter who's in college rented a storage unit for the summer close to campus. She paid 125.00 per month and 13.00 month for required insurance through ********** The Osprey storage states to have cameras but only a couple and nothing near our rented unit. The unit got broken into. Lock cut and taken. Thiefs put another lock on that Osprey had to cut off. All her valuables, clothes, electronics, etc were stolen. After itemizing everything, getting police reports, etc, they ********* company giving us the run around and Osprey not helping. It's like they are in on the sham as we have seen other BBB complaints exactly like this. We would like our money back for the storage or the insurance money we are due to replace my daughters belongings. This is wrong that they take advantage of a college girl. Shame on them all

    I’m sorry for the delayed response.  Some confusion as you did speak with the
    manager on site on 09/04/2024.  A $50 customer
    satisfaction gift card was given to you for her.

    Our lease does state that insurance is required.  It allows you to provide any insurance.  The ********* is a company that deals with storage insurance across the country.  We have zero say in their findings or
    determinations.  The rental agreement
    then states that we have no liability for insurance findings.


    We have responded to Police and insurance requests with any
    information we had including researching video and gate logs.
