    We had an issue on an air conditioning unit in our vacation rental home. Davis was the installer of the unit and were contacted by our property manager. Their response was that it would be some time before they could send someone. At the time we had guests in the home and they began complaining about it only blowing hot air. Because there was a potential to lose our guests, we needed it serviced as soon as possible. After a day or two, Davis still failed to send a technician to mitigate the issue. At our cost, we had to obtain an outside tech, in hopes of finding the actual problem, asap. He found the issue was a severe leak. He also verified the part was still under warranty and provided the part number and unit serial number. Davis was contacted and they stated they still needed to send a tech, which wouldn't happen for another day or two. Once they did show, they agreed the part needed to be replaced and that it was under warranty. We spoke with ****** at Davis' office who assured us the part was ordered and that would arrive Friday or Monday. It did not arrive either day. Now it was to show on Tuesday or Wednesday. We inquired about a tracking number and they could not provide one. In the meantime, we checked Mitsubishi stock, spoke to two other techs and found the part is readily available. I pressed the issue with Davis and they said, "it just arrived today in Lexington", although we had contacted the facility and they stated they had stock of that part. We had to pay for a driver to drive over 80 miles one way to pick up the part so it could be installed immediately. This all took place from 7/5-7/21/23. We know the part was not ordered an feel it was due to our not being local residents. Additionally, we lost nearly $15,000 in cancelled reservations due to this prolonged issue that should have been resolved much sooner.
