    In 2023 had TrimLight Cincinnati installed a TrimLight system to our home with a lifetime warranty for the system. Upon purchase we were informed that the warranty would cover the product and labor related to any issues we may have. We haven’t had to use the warranty until this year (2025). The person who came to do the warranty repairs told us there would be no charge for the fix. We then had to call them two more times for warranty work in the following month and half for similar issues. After the work has been completed and being told initially that there was no charge, the company is now stating that there is a charge for the warranty work. The company never informed me up front that there would be a charge for the work therefore I never had the opportunity to approve or deny the work/payment. I have tried to resolve this directly with the company and it has been difficult. They refuse to take phone calls and will only communicate via text message. Initially it appeared as though they were using a chat bot. Now it appears there is a human behind the messages, however there is continued refusal to talk on the phone to resolve this issue.

    We received lights in September, we have asked repeatedly to receive warranty information and also would like guidance on the app (as it is not fully fuctional) we were promised a user friendly app and a 30 year warranty (without paperwork that warranty is null and void) the owner has acknowledged my emails by sending a ******* tutorial, If he cannot send someone out here (that has not cancelled on us twice) we would like the app to be updated to user friendly (as we cannot set the lights correctly, and it constantly resets every time we open the app, there is no saved settings. It keeps reverting back to default and also need warranty information when we sell our house so the new owners have the warranty for 30 years (led are only good for 10 years) if they cannot send someone out to help us, we would like all of our accurate warranty information as well
