    BUYER BEWARE: I purchased a firearm from Simmons Sporting Goods online. If I had taken the time to check to see if they were BBB approved, I would not have made the purchase for the reasons explained below. I had been waiting months and months for a particular weapon to be in stock and was on an email notification list from Simmons. I received an email from them yesterday stating the pistol I desired was in stock. I immediately ordered the weapon and made arrangements to have it sent to my local FFL dealer. A few hours later I received a call from Simmonds telling me the product was no longer in stock. They stated they had one and sold it to a walk-in customer. I my mind, by accepting my order and payment we had a legally binding contract. They broke the contract. I made my displeasure known and asked for a refund. As of this writing, I have not received a refund. I called to inquire and was told 3-5 business days. This is unacceptable. They debited the money from my bank account immediately upon processing my order; they did not have to wait 3-5 days for my payment for a non-existent product. I cannot purchase the weapon from a reputable dealer for 3-5 days because Simmons can't be bothered to pick up the phone and call their bank to expedite my refund. I should not have to wait 3-5 days either.

    I am Hunter ******* COO of Simmons Sporting Goods. As we state on our website all firearms are for sale in the store on display. Ocasionally someone purchases the firearm in the store around or at the same time a customer buys online. As we are human and a small family run business we do make mistakes on occasion. We explained to you what happeden and offered your money back and told you we would be happy to pull the next one for you as soon as we recieve it. After several times of you cursing at my employees I told them to just refund your money and ask you to shop elsewhere.

    As for your refund we refunded your money the moment you told us you wanted the refund. Your credit card company takes 3-5 days for a refund. I have no control over thier process nor does any other business. Every time a refund is issued no matter what business it takes 3-5 days.

    I am very sorry you had a bad experience but I and my team always go above and beyond to make it right for the customer when we have anything like this happen. I hope you find the item you wanted elsewhere. Thank you
