    12/2023 or before. I am the owner of **** ****** *** ******* ** I never authority for anyone to change the water bill to his or her name. I have been paying the water since I obtain the property 2004. I once receive an call for an employee asking me if I gave someone authority to change water I said no and I had no ideal who the people that took over the water bill. Months went by with no problem then I found out that water is out of my name and my deposit was taken. However after I called and went to the water company for an explanation they gave me the run around. I am disable and cant continue to go back and forth with the water company over this issue. How can some one call me before then turn around and disconnect and give my refund to someone who is living in the house with out my permission. Where is my deposit and why was this done with out my approval. This is crazy and and not professional. I felt like I have been taken advantage of. This has really put me in a bind. I am trying to get the people out the house but I have been assulted by them. The way the water company has treated this situation is unfair. I have not given a lease agreement to anyone. If one was presented it was false any one could look back since 2006 and see my name or my uncle ***** ******* on every bill at that address since it existed. now that is a FACT.

    The end of the summer of 2023 she was 2 months late on her water bill. She got turned off. The residents in the house brought in the proper paperwork and filled the application out to get the water turned back on. They put it in their name. ******* ******* deposit went towards her 2 bills that were never paid.

    I am rejecting this response because:  Is there a possible date, in the near future,  that the pipes will be replaced. The water and sewage usage is zero every month. So why are we being charged ?

    ******* ******is also damaging our yard. The water company needs to replace those old pipes and upgrade to some new pipes. I feel this has been going on for too long. I also have another complaint. Our water bill and sewage has been average around $48 every month. We have been paying it on time every month. The question is a flat rate? Our usage for water and sewage is zero every month. This has been this way since January 2020. No one lives there on a constant basis. We are over at that address occasionally during the week keeping check on it. If someone comes in from out of town, they stay at the house. So why are we being charged $48 every month? We don't mind paying a FLAT rate, but I think that $48 is very unfair. I feel that we should be reimbursed, if we have been over charged. And the water leak definitely needs to be FIXED not repaired. Thank you

    The water line going down Peck St. is in our budget to get
    fixed in the near future.
    The $48 that they are billed each month is the minimum for
    water and sewer. The sewer is included on our bills. $24 goes to Peoples of
    Bastrop, and $24 goes to the City of Bastrop for the sewer collection.
