      on Sunday August 28 2022 my AC went out that was just installed 5 years ago . I contacted my warranty company monday the 29th due to it still being under warranty and they said that coburns in Hammond was the local supplier for the warranty parts .So i called them and discussed it with them and they said i would need to have an Ac tech come out and look at the unit to determine what the issue was and asked if the suggested any one . They did and he came out on the tuesday the 30th and said the compressor was bad . I told him i had discussed with coburns about it being under warranty and that they would get what ever parts are needed . The gentleman calls me back later that afternoon and said he would not be able to complete the job . So i called coburns and let them know what is going on and ask if they can suggest someone else and they did Kenny Austin. which i did not fine out till later that he was an unlicensed contractor which coburns should never have suggested and i did not ask because i believe that that a company like coburn would not suggest a unlicensed contractor . He came out and did the work tuesday not the 29th and said he would be out in a couple of day which he never came . I contacted the unlicensed contractor many times to come out as it was not working correctly and by friday was not working at all and the concractor left town for the weekend . I contacted coburns to try to get his contractor licensed number and the where very unfriendly about helping me in any way after they where the one who suggested the unlicensed person in the first place. Yes i know coburns supplies the part only but they are also the one who suggested the unlicensed person to work on my AC and can be more helpful in the information i requested and not so rude to someone trying to report the the substandard work that was done on my AC due to the work by an unlicensed contractor they suggested .
