      In June, 2023, my husband and I, along with his brother and wife, purchased a cremation bench and urns to be placed at my husband and brother-in-law's parents graveside. The cost was approximately $7300, which was paid in full on the date of the order. We were told by the sales person that the bench would be ready in January 2024. In mid
      January 2024 we called to inquire if it was in and was told that it was going to be in in February. February came and went with no word from Green Oaks. In March I called our sales person who said he would check and get back with me. A few days later he called me and said there were two forms that had not been signed for the order and because of that the order had never been placed. No one had ever mentioned these forms previously. We were livid. He sent the forms. They were signed and returned to him. He then said the bench and urns would be in near the end of September. In June, we followed up with him just to make sure everything was done. He said, yes and repeated September as the arrival date. September came and went with no word from Green Oaks. The first day or two of October we began trying to contact our salesman....no response. We talked to two other people at Green Oaks during this time and repeated this long story and was assured someone would contact us.
      No one did. Our salesperson finally returned our call and stated that he had left Green Oaks in July and he knew nothing about our order. So, we again called Green Oaks, telling our story to several different people who promised to have someone call. Today is October 28. We still have heard nothing from Green Oaks. We are out $7300 and know nothing. I just learned late this afternoon that our order (which we completed and paid for in June 2023) was not placed by Green Oaks until July 10, 2024, and that our bench and urns will not be ready for another 12-15 months.
