      Sales person was very helpful and we decided to make the purchase for a whopping $9,300.00.  My husband has Parkinson’s and I have numerous physical disabilities. Sales person assured us the delivery people would move our bed to another bedroom, but the delivery men refused to deliver the bed because they were NOT going to move the bed to another bedroom , and their supervisor told them by phone the didn’t have to move the bed.  The bed never came off the truck, and they left.  The owner called the next day to apologize and wanted to redeliver the bed, we said no because we didn’t want to do business with them after the fiasco.  The owner told us : “ I hate to see you pay for a bed you don’t have”.  The owners attitude and the statement he made solidified our decision to not do business with Mattress Direct in Denham Springs, LA.  Well, they processed the finance paperwork, although when I called my sales person immediately to make sure they would not process the finance paperwork due to non-delivery, he stated they only process the financing when they have a signed delivery invoice. So, a year has now passed and finally, after numerous letters and calls disputing the $9,300 , we finally are free of the night mare.  Our dispute was settled by the finance company and we do not have to pay for a bed we do not have!!! The owner knowingly processed the financing even though we did not receive the bed . The owner stated they do not cancel special orders, nor accept returns. Can’t return something you never had!!! I wonder how many others have been mistreated and bullied by the owner of this business. Make sure it’s not you next time.

      The guest read and reviewed our Store Policy. The guest knew that this was a special order
      and that special orders are “All Sales Final”.


      Upon delivery, the guest requested
      that the delivery drivers move a bunch of furniture that does not fall within
      our ability to do according to our insurance policy.


      The drivers explained that
      they were not allowed to move all of her furniture.


      She refused the delivery in
      anger. We have attempted to schedule redelivery and are willing to redeliver
      when she is ready.

      My husband and I purchased a mattress from this store a few moths ago and upon delivery their delivery crew damaged my new floors in our brand new home. I contacted mattress direct and submitted everything they requested. I sent multiple photos of the damages and two seperate quotes to have my floors repaired. I have still not heard one word from them. Mr. Lee Burns did contact me and left me a voicemail which I have tried returning multiple times and nothing. The damages are $1600-1900 dollars and not so much as a apology from this so called family owned store. This store and its owners are obviously a joke and really need to not be involved in a business if this is how they treat their customers. That is the whole reason we purchased from them because they are family owned. What a joke. I have now had to take legal action to address the damages and to hold this company accountable for what they have done to my new home. I would not want anyone else going through this in the future.

      March 2023, I brought my Mom to the Siegen Lane store to buy a new bed. She is 90 years old and not quite 5 foot tall. We were looking to get something that would fit her size and ability to safely get in bed. Taylor helped us pick out the set. She told us if we were not satisfied with the bed we could return it. Because the bed needed to be low for my Mom to get in the bed, Taylor suggested a mattress base that could be lowered as low as she needed. She told Mom if she didn't like the bed or had any issues, it had a warranty and could return it. She also sold us a mattress cover with cooling properties and protect the mattress. Mom was very excited to get her new bed.
      Delivery day the frame was bent and never fixed. We tried a couple months to make the mattress cover work, the fitted sheet kept coming off the bed because the mattress cover is slick and the sheet will not hold. I went to the Siegen store to return the mattress cover and they told because I did not have the package it came in, I could not return it. We were never told we had to keep the packaging. At this point, the delivery people unpacked everything so maybe they took it.
      Because of promises not kept or untruthful and after talking to Taylor again, she told me returns are not allowed. I am writing this review because they never contacted me after emailing. It is still too high for her and at some point she will not be able to get in the bed by herself. The frame is still bent, the delivery guys did not tell the truth and what Taylor promised, low bed, and return policy was not accurate.
      NEVER buy from this company, their service and warranty are not as promised and if you have problems with their product.........good luck because they could care less. Only want the sale!!!!

      I went into the store to browse for a mattress with my partner. By the end of our trials of the display beds, we decided on purchasing a mattress. An employee was present the entire time we were in the store to assist us with more info on the mattress's comfort and pricing. Although we took a few minutes to speak privately to discuss our options on the mattress itself and prices from other retailers (we browsed other deals online). When we informed the employee we'd like to purchase from Mattress Direct, they directed us to the computer for payment and delivery information. They asked us about how we'd like to pay and offered an alternate finance option. We were open to hearing their options and they let u know that they offered no interest payment option over a 12 month span. Since I was the primary buyer, I said I was interested. They asked me my income and basic personal info. I asked questions such as "Is this a credit card?" "Will this affect my credit?". And the responses were "No, this is not a credit card. But you will receive a card'" and "No, this will not affect your credit". When they began having me sign the paperwork, I saw that the paper said credit card. So I asked again for clarification, and the employee assured me that I will be mistaken to believe this was a credit card. I asked multiple times if this was a buy now pay later type of system, that does not include a credit card or credit pull. They said they were unfamiliar with this type of payment method or phrasing but said that it sounded like a similar system. I did sign the paperwork. Received the mattress. And received a ding on my credit and a credit card. This complaint is not about the product itself, the mattress. It is about the misinformation about the financing options. The employees should understand the financing options and be transparent about their knowledge if they do not understand. I felt deliberately misled about the situation and the advertisement of the financing.

      The guest did sign Synchrony financing paperwork that clearly says it checks credit. Not sure the confusion. Hope they enjoy the mattress.
