    Simply Orchid Decor was a no-show on the day of my wedding that took place on October 22, 2023.

    On July 10, 2023, I informed the business that we needed 175 chairs, 10 round tables, and linens for the 10 requested tables. The business committed to provide the 175 chairs, 10 round tables, and linens. The business further agreed to set up the items and arrive to the wedding venue at 1:00 p.m. to begin set up.

    On August 16, 2023, I paid the business $1,010.00. I paid the remainder of the invoice, which was an additional $1,010.00 on September 11, 2023. In total, I paid the business $2,020.00 for a service that was never received. The Order number was #000292.

    All attempts to reach the business through email and its listed phone number on my wedding day were unsuccessful, and every phone call went directly to voicemail. The attempts to make contact and eventually to find another vendor that could jump in with substitute items all occurred as I was preparing to walk down the aisle.

    I incurred additional charges in order to compensate the last-minute substitute vendor. Because Simply Orchid Decor’s failure to fulfill its obligation is the sole reason that I had to utilize a new vendor, I am also seeking recovery of the funds paid to the substitute vendor, as I had absolutely no time to discuss costs, and had to make a quick decision to take whatever the substitute vendor was offering in the moment in order to avoid my wedding guests having nowhere to sit.

    Simply Orchid Decor has made no effort to resolve the problem. This situation was incredibly distressing and disappointing to experience on my wedding day for obvious reasons, as it resulted in unnecessary stress, but most importantly, additional costs. Simply Orchid Decor entirely failed to fulfill its obligation for which it had already been compensated, and the business owner/representative gave no notice that the items would not be supplied as agreed.
