This company quoted us $3,442.60 to replace the air handler on our home AC. The only thing wrong was a bad fan wheel which I figured out myself. The part was only $88. I would not recommend anyone using this company. I selected a one star rating because I was forced to. The Montz Company deserves NO STARS!!

We hate to see you upset. We are pleased to hear that you fixed your ac. Our company was called out to service your system on 09/26/2023. When our technicians came out, he found the blower wheel was stripped / damaged with the ECM motor possibly damaged due to the blower wheel. Our company always recommend to replace both parts in those situations. We recommended to replace both the ECM motor and wheel, which we gave you a quote for $979.75. These are OEM parts. When we spoke to the manufacture, they told us it will take 3 weeks for the parts to come in. Due to the extreme temps, parts being to expensive, the age of your equipment, and the time it would arrive, we quoted you the option to replace the air handler. Our technicians gave you their opinion of what they recommended. We quoted you the proper pricing with the prices we were given from the manufacture plus our labor. We emailed you both quotes several times ( 09/26/2023, 09/27/2023 & 10/17/2023) to the emails we have on your file. We do apologize for any misunderstandings or miscommunications. We value our customers opinion.
