    Hired Jah Pier’s upholstery to reupholster boat seats that I own. From reference photos online & photos he sent me directly the work looks good.
    Paid $1,500 for deposit & transferred possession of pieces needing work done.
    Half way through **** *** **** notified me that he was 100% finished with a portion of the seats. He came to drop them off at my personal address. After drop of & inspection of the finished work I politely let **** *** **** know I wasn’t happy & didn’t want him to continue work on my pieces.
    I stated I paid $1,500 out of the $3,000 & that I wanted to stop work & have him return my original pieces he hasn’t yet worked on. He has since refused to return my unupholstered pieces without reviving full payment. I’ve offered to return the fabric materials in exchange for my pieces. He has ignored all efforts to contact him.
