      I ordered a pair of windows from Window World 05/02/2022. The salesman was very nice and professional. Both windows were suppose to be installed 06/15/2022. When the techs arrived to do the install, one of the windows didn’t fit. So, it had to be reordered. Please note, they require 50% down at the time you place the order. I had to wait another month to get the correct window. The second window frame arrived damaged a month later. The delivery of the first window was quick and they left the area clean. The second window was put in with a damaged frame. I paid the final payment. BIG MISTAKE!!! Do Not pay Window World until you are completely satisfied with the product. I’m completely dissatisfied with them because I had a delivery date for the corrected window frame of 09/10/2022. No one called or showed up. I forgot to say that the no call, no show is what they do. This happened on the first install, too. So, I called them to find out that they didn’t come out to complete the install of the frame because it had to be reordered and will take 6 to 8 MORE WEEKS before we can set up a delivery date. I was completely baffled when the man on the phone stated that my frame had to be reordered. 1. Why would the lady on the phone setup a date for delivery, if the frame was not ready for delivery. 2. Why didn’t someone call on or before the 10th to state that the frame had to be reordered. I do not recommend Window World for a window purchase. I’m so, so, so, sorry I paid them. I believe if I had withheld payment my window would be delivered and installed before now, which is going to be 5 MONTHS after placing my order and 3 MONTHS after PAYING them in FULL. This is POOR BUSINESS and UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE!!!

      Another disappointing encounter with Window World and their inability to to provide even decent service. Received an email that I would receive a call at 10:00 am today giving me a delivery and installation time. This was for replacement of windows sashes after the entire lot of windows for the house failed. Two telephone numbers are on the email, one is mine and the email address is mine. The delivery location in question is next door. I go outside and notice the windows stacked on the front porch, No phone call was received. I called them at 10:20 to find out the problem and was told several phone calls were made to one number but not both and that they could not come back. It had been 20 minutes since what should have been notification time per their policy. After speaking to 2 employees and my complaint moved up the line, the earliest reschedule is September the 8th. Now the items are on the porch at risk for theft.
      This is by far the worst window company for service. It is never their fault and the frustration involved to get your warranty honored is appalling.

      The person in the service department called me the following morning to set up installation for later in the day. This service was completed as scheduled. I appreciate this individual's effort to have the job completed. The service technician was also friendly, and made telephone contacts as planned.

      "Buyer be aware" I am writing this for anyone thinking about using Window World of Baton Rouge, La. My life has been **** for these past four months. Consumers deserve better treatment.
      I signed a contract with ***** ***** (Salesman) to have 8 windows installed in my granddaughter's home from Window World of Baton Rouge, La.
      On March 9, 2022 the Window World windows were to be installed at 9 am; then 10:30 am; then 1:30 pm; then 3:30 pm. I called the main office and told window world not to send anyone to install the windows after 3:30 pm that day, because I wouldn't be able to inspect their installation because it would be dark. The installers showed up at 5:23 pm that same day. Instead of knocking the window glass outside my home they chose to knock the glass inside my home. I told them my great grandson was two years old and that made a very dangerous situation for him. The workers made such a mess. They had glass every where's on tables; countertops and furniture. I found slithers of glass for a long time. The workmanship was something I had never seen before. Such incompetent work. They carried a white five gallon bucket around to install the over seeping caulk around the windows. What a mess? They cut the window trim too short; they damaged window trim and a repair guy had to come out to repair some of the damage March 14, 2022. The workers damaged three of the window screens that had scratches and holes on them and they had to be replaced. The screens were installed May 3rd. Four months of **** from this company! My referral check came in 07/25/2022 was sent to Chauvin La (2 1/2 hour drive from my home).

      Our experience from the initial call, estimate and measuring to actual install about 5 weeks later was GREAT. We ordered 4 up stair windows and a large downstairs window with 2 small windows. Our house was built in 1941 and we were replacing original windows. The windows in my downstairs library were old metal crank windows and we were very concerned that any new replacements may not fit properly or may leak but we are very happy and have not had any problems. The install person and his wife were very professional and cleaned all the mess. We will definitely use Window World again and would recommend them to all our family and friends.
