      My boyfriend contacted what was advertised as The Glass Doc, which I found out was an alias name for Novus Star Windshield because the owner *** ****** went to jail for fraud relating to the glass business. I’m assuming this may be why he changes the name of his business often. We contacted them at the beginning of the year to have the windshield of our Nissan 350z repaired. The next am two guys showed up. They were very unprofessional. While one talked about everything not relating to the job, the other dug through what I thought was their company truck. He pulled out massive amounts of womens clothing and proceeded to ask what size shoe I worn then held up a pair of high heels (he stated this was not their truck). The other guy then proceeded to ask me to bring his cell inside my home to charge it which against what I really wanted to do and what my gut told me, I did it anyway. He then asked for several tools including a battery charger. If it weren’t for my own personal tools I’m not sure how they planned to install the windshield. At this point I told my bf to go watch them as I was uncomfortable. They talked the entire time. They ended up not sealing the front windshield correctly so it leaked the very next day but also molding & both A-pilers of both doors (these are $500 USED each). My bf asked to speak to their mgr & that’s when Mr Hodges was put on the phone. He agreed to give him a discount but it was less than $100 off but I wasn’t aware of this until after they left. This is when I stepped in & contacted the owner Mr Hodges via text (see texts attached). He promised to come back out the next day to check damages; no show! The following day asked what his schedule was like, he replied “wide open.” However he never came out, no one did, they kept our $ and cost me double for the other damages!! He now will not text or call either of us back and I’ve tried religiously for months now. Google this man’s name - served time for fraudijf customers!!
