  Ark-La-Tex-Spray Foam Solutions was hired to seal (with foam) an added room. I told Chris and Dylan that I wanted to make sure I did not have outside air infiltration - for insulation purposes as well as insect protection. They assured me that their spray foam would take care of it and we agreed on a price of $6,500. I paid in cash and they did not give me a copy of the paid invoice, so I'm guessing they did not report the transaction to the IRS. They did not do a good job sealing the room and when I complained that the room was way too hot and I'm still getting insects, they said they had done a great job but, for another $1,800 they would come back and spray the roof again. I told them that I did not think the extra roof spraying (which they were supposed to do to begin with) would help, but if if did work, I would pay them. It did not help and when I complained they said I still owed the $1,800. So I borrowed an expensive thermal camera and it showed that the room was poorly insulated and hardly sealed at all, especially along the plate line - which is harder to get to. They said they didn't care what the camera showed and until I paid the $1,800 they would not come back.

  We truly hate that we were not able to please Mr. Tommy. The first time we met we highly recommended him to spray the envelope of the room to get full potential out of his system. He then told us that he had foam board on the ceiling and was not interested in the full system. We then agreed of $6,500 to pull off all the walls of the room that was added spray foam them and then install everything back the way it was. He WAS giving a receipt which he signed and dated after completion. This invoice specified that the roof was not included. He then called back many months later wanting to spray the roof. We agreed on $1,800 to remove his metal roof, spray down to his foam board (which was not recommended, then put his roof back on. Which he signed and dated this invoice as well before the work was started. Once the job was complete, he refused to pay us for the work that had been done. We politely went on and just chalked the job up. Months later he called us back and wanted us to look at a thermal imaging gun. We went back to Mr. Tommy's house and looked through the gun and we found that the heat signatures were coming through the faces of the wood that the building was built out of. We also noticed the window unit was too small and there were big air gaps around the unit. He still refused to pay us our money and was not receptive to our answers to his heat issues. So, with that being said we respectfully declined any further busy with Mr. Tommy, once this was said he told us if we were not coming back, he was writing a bad review and calling the IRS on us. This is the first time in years of business we have had a bad experience and could not meet expectations of someone. Unfortunately, you cannot please everyone, but we did give it everything we had to make him happy.
