    Used Mighty Movers/Moving Guys for Rent Sept 30th 2024. ***** was great at original phone conversations to get a sale, but day of move was sloppy. First 3 guys (*****, ******* and **) were great, worked hard. But after 2 hours, needed more help, so ***** came with another guy, who stood around cracking jokes the whole time! We were told that the 2nd Uhaul maybe too small and we said that we would either leave things behind or get a pull trailer. But they crammed in, squeezed together and shoved it till it fit. My husband REPEATEDLY said NOT to ruin the new washer and dryer. They broke items BEFORE even going on the truck with NOTHING said about compensation. Got to our destination and of course, broken items, new dryer=not new anymore, and boxes that had writing in one direction they turned sideways and yup=everything broken!!! Called ***** to complain and see about compensation. Said to sent pics, which I did. Called and texted but I've been ghosted!!! I know roads aren't great and bumps will tear things up which I was willing to overlook some broken items. But the few items broken BEFORE loading AND the fact that he has not even returned any conversations makes me say NOPE, they need to compensate for EVERYTHING!!!! We even gave them ALL a tip...what the heck for???

    Unfortunately, we do not extend coverage to customers once we load a rental truck. Our liability ends when the truck is loaded. If we had performed a full-service move and the household goods had been in our care, custody and control

    from start to finish, we would have been liable.
