On 7-31-2022 we had scheduled a family vacation at Cajun Palms in Breaux Bridge, La. (now Margaritaville RV Resort). We paid $570 for a weekend with a golf cart rental. Days before our trip our truck was giving us problems, and the dealership had to order a part so of course we had to cancel. My husband called and told them our situation and the worker put in the computer that we needed to send proof of truck repair. Now I don’t know what was said in the phone. And for that matter he can’t remember the conversation from 7 months ago. He just knew we had a year to use the credit. I called them this morning to use the credit for May 19th and was told the girl who typed that in the computer was no longer working there. I asked the worker to send me an email showing that she requested proof of repair. The girl said there was no email only what the former worker typed on the computer. I sent them the copy of the repairs dated from the drop off date to the pick up date. I sent proof of the money taken out of my bank account, and the email we had showing it was canceled. There is nothing in the clause that says they have a certain number of days to send anything. I can see if it was because we didn’t want to go, but we couldn’t make it we had no way of getting our camper there without a truck. The girl who supposedly left them didn’t put the credit in the computer. We have proof of them taking the money out our account, proof of his work done on the truck, and a copy of the reservation. If this doesn’t get resolved we will go hire up to Margaritville corporate office. I just want what is rightfully ours. The account number is ********** and it is under ***** *****
