      On November 7, 2023, I called the business and asked the man on the phone what would they charge to replace a fan clutch on my 2018 Tiffin motorhome. I explained to him that I did not need a diagnosis because between my previous experience with a failed clutch, and with help from a Tiffin Service Technician, I had diagnosed the problem and was 100 percent sure my fan clutch had failed and needed to be replaced. Therefore, all I needed them to do is replace the clutch. I had already gotten a price from Tiffin Parts for the clutch and all I needed to do was purchase it and have it overnighted to them. The man told me it would cost me two (2) hours of labor at $160.00, plus the price of the part (which I was providing), and if I got the motorhome to them by that afternoon, he can have it ready by Friday, November 10th.

      I arrived at their location on November 7th at approximately 3:00 pm. The man from the phone call was not there, but his business partner was. I explained to him what had been previously discussed. He had his secretary write up a service order for us. I told her my fan clutch had failed and I needed it replaced. From that point we discussed if I should go ahead and order the part from Tiffin or if they had a local vender who could get it for less than the one from Tiffin, which was $1500.00. We concluded with me getting the part from Tiffin and having it overnighted to them. When I was getting ready to leave, The man told me to let him know when I had the part ordered. I called him early the next morning to let him know the part was on its way and would be there Thursday, November 9th.

      I called there Thursday afternoon to ask the status of my unit and was told it was ready for pickup. I went there Friday, November 10th to find they charged me for six (6) hours of labor instead of two (2); 3 hours for diagnostic and 1 hour for letting it run for a hour. (4 hours over)

      I was overcharged for unnecessary work I did not ask for, nor do I believe they did.
