    The have the worst service department.(Blake)They tell you they gon come fix something and never able to give you a date. I call him two or three times and was told he not available but as soon as I hang up and call Clayton Builders cause it’s still under warranty he calls back . He call and I detected attitude and I called him out on it and he say oh it’s not with you. Ok so I call today and was told he unavailable so again I call Clayton and explain to them that I hadn’t heard from him in bout two weeks n my concern was the siding on the back coming off the house and the storm or hurricane taking off more of the siding. So he calls me and the minute I here his voice I detected the attitude I got one also and it was a back and forward heated argument and I expressed to him my concern was the siding and he said that if it comes off I will replace it and I said I can’t get you to get the fix this how am I get u to do that in a timely manner. So I see this back n fourth not going anywhere not going anywhere so I hung up to called Clayton Builders. He called n I didn’t answer cause I am on phone with Clayton telling them about my experience with Evangeline service department. He text me a message threathing that by me hanging up he was going to make me wait for my repairs and if I can’t talk to him like a civilized human being he not gon help me. If he can talk to me like he one than I don’t have to talk to him at all. He is a very rude service person. I have the message that he sent. I am planning on make a post and posting the service I got on Facebook..

    I do NOT recommend buying a home from ***** * *****/Evangeline Home Center. I purchased a Cappaert home March of 2022. Prior to purchasing, I pointed several flaws out to the salesman, who reassured me that these would either resolve once the home was level or would be fixed through the "punch list" process. The day the home was delivered, I contacted the salesman (Charlie) and the service manager (Tammie) regarding my main concern of the back door not shutting or locking, and randomly popping open. I was reassured that this would be fixed. Months went by & I made numerous attempts to receive an update for the time frame for this repair. I either did not receive a response or was falsely reassured. We had additional issues arise as plumbing and electrical were connected. We had leaks under and in the home. I called for emergency service both times, which I did not receive. I was instructed to crawl under the home and cut the "under belly" while I was roughly 6-7 months pregnant. I had to coordinate these emergent repairs myself, which were manufacturing flaws. After that, I noticed a burning smell in my infant's room, as the hot water heater is in the closet. The wires to the hot water heater were connected with the wrong cap, causing a short. The wires were melting & creating a fire hazard. I called for emergency service. I was brushed off, & I had to seek repairs myself. I had to go without hot water with an infant, in December. This is just to name a FEW of my complaints/concerns. April 2023, after one year of living in a home with a door that did not stay shut nor lock, a contractor FINALLY came to replace the door. The door still does not shut & also does not match the home. In this time frame, the manufacturer (Cappaert) went bankrupt. Now, even though I have been in constant contact with the dealer & manufacturer, at least monthly, for over a year, my "punch list"/repairs are not being honored. I have never been so dissatisfied or received such poor service.

    Poor communication from their service department. Bought a home from this great sales department but once the loan is funded that it. When u need service Tammy is horrible and keeping her word on returning calls and fixing the emergency call for repairs. When I have called about updates I get lied to about why I didn’t get a call back. They screen their calls bc they know who is calling. I have been in my home for 3 months and still can’t use it like a true home bc of the repairs that need to be done with help from Evangeline. I can go on and on about this and how they don’t care about their customers once they get paid. I do not recommend buying from them. I also am in the market for another trailer and will refuse to give them my business again.
