From the moment we walked in and were greeted by our salesperson, Gay, we knew we were in the right place. We had been to several furniture stores in Lafayette and they either had nothing or pricing was absurd or, they couldn't deliver until July. American Factory delivered on all levels. Gay worked with us, and was never pushy, listened to what we wanted and then directed us to the perfect piece. We even found another needed piece we were looking for. Delivery was within 2 days and I was texted, emailed, and the called on the day of delivery which was before noon! We love our furniture and will do business with them again.American Factory Direct Furniture

5 starsI purchased two couches and a recliner at American Direct Furniture at the ********* store. I had them for approximately 2 months and notices the seams were shredding and the foam was coming out. There were seam issues on both couches and the recliner. Of course, I was very upset, so I contacted the store. I was told that they would order the individual seats and repair what was broken. Every individual seat of the couches had issued so they would have to repair both couches & the recliner completely and this did not make since to me. I filed a complaint with the BBB because I felt their choice of fixing the couches was absurd. Why would anyone want their new furniture repaired. I received a call a week or so later and was told that it would cost more to repair them then to just replace them. I was offered the same furniture I had purchased. This was a great offer, but I didn't want anything that was made by the manufacture company that made poor quality furniture. I told them that I didn't want a refund I just wanted new furniture that didn't fall apart. I was so happy when I was offered credit at their store. I could come in and pick out something else of my choice! Now this is good customer service. I went in today (Sunday March 26th) and picked out two beautiful couches. American Direct Furniture is a reputable company and I believe it was not their fault. The manufacturing company that made the couches were the villains here. I have bought furniture from this company before, and I will continue to purchase furniture from them in the future.Review fromRichard H

1 starLafayette branch manager was my biggest issue, along with poor, clear communication with lower level management, and delivery team. The rigidity and inability to attempt to find a resolution by the manager was the reason for this review. In business, customer service is key, before the sale and after the sale. To stand behind a rigid line and refuse to seek a solution is really poor management on the local branch side and the overall company management. The ability to navigate the grey areas in business and life, is an art and the sign of a good manager. This local manager has a lot to learn. I waited 10 months to get all the pieces to my master bedroom set, which originally, I was told I would receive in 4 months. And know this, this was not a house full of furniture! I had been complaining to my sales person, "how much longer?" from the 1st delivery in May. I looked around and found a set I loved at another store, and they had the whole set in stock, so I spoke to the salesperson about canceling my order, and he told me I couldn't. He then said, give it 1- 2 more months for the rest of the pieces. A few days before the last delivery in November, I told my agent we deserved to be compensated for the inconvenience. I received a cracked mirror with one of the deliveries, and I waited 1 month on the replacement mirror which I dealt with. I called to talk to the owner about how I was unhappy with my experience. I was given the owner's name, and I left 3 messages for Mr. Comeaux to call me back, and he hasn't had the decency to return my call all this time. I'm very upset about how awful I was treated. I will never buy anything from them again! My family has done business with the father for years and they had never experienced this. Be careful with purchases with them!
I did receive a call from American Factory Direct owners' Executive Assistant who contacted me because of my BBB review. She claimed, she never got my 3 calls left on the recorder that has her name on it. Once, I was transferred in house to her phone and left a message there. She claimed, "it could not have been my direct line." After talking to her, I felt more offended by her dismissive, condescending, and matter of fact answer. "You received your merchandise and now you are good, and I will --pass your displeasure on to ******************." And after weeks of no additional return calls, I wanted to write my follow-up review.I felt my review was necessary because of our unexpected 9 months wait to get our furniture one piece at a time. I asked my service guy a reasonable question, if I could get my payment back since it was taking so long, and he offered me to call the *********, ** headquarter location, so I waited, and waited, and no returned call. They have a terrible policy of not letting you get your money back if you haven't received your merchandise in the time promised, even with additional time given with the second promised date. We had to be inconvenienced and sleep on an air mattress for months with our clothes in storage containers. I told my service guy after the 6 month wait that we found a furniture place that had the bedroom set in stock that we really liked, and we could get right away with all the pieces, and he said, "we don't give refunds, so you would have to call our headquarters to discuss that."At this point, I'm still an unsatisfied customer, and I will stay away from this store.

I purchased a Sterns and Foster Mattress (which has a 10 year warranty) along with a number of other furniture totaling over 10 thousand dollars. Within 5 months of ownership, the mattress has approximate 1" deep dips where my wife and I sleep. This clearly has to be a defect, as a new mattress should not be dipping after such short use, especially after paying so much money for it.. I was told by my salesperson, to file a warranty claim. I had to contact the Warranty department after filing it, for it had been 2 weeks and had not heard back from them. Once I made contact, the lady had trouble finding my claim. She eventually found it, only to tell me immediately that the dipping was not deep enough (I had taken pictures to send to them showing how bad it was in such a short time) the tolerances set by the manufacturer were for 1 1/2" deep dipping, and there was nothing they could do about it. She had me send another form and more pictures, to only come back within a few hours after sending it in to let me know her and her manager agreed, they would not do anything about it. So, this is a warning to all who will shop there, They will be glad to take your money, but do not go to them for service! They will tell you they stand by their products, until you call them. So now, we are stuck with a 6 month old mattress that looks worst than the 4 year old mattress we replaced it with.American Factory Direct Furniture

We have been having this problem with furniture being damaged since February 2022 and this problem is still not resolved. I have sent you several emails and you don't respond back. If you are willing to continue to work with me to make sure I'm happy with my purchase then maybe you should provide better customer service skills! I purchased a bedroom set in February 2022 but it was on back order. The furniture was delivered to me in June 2022 the same day it was delivered when I came home I called the company to let them know that I was not satisfied with the furniture that I got and it look like used damage furniture. The headboard was chipped to the wood and a foot board parts of it was to the wood and all damaged and messed ** in the middle but they were telling me this is how the furniture should be. The dresser has a hole at the bottom of it and on the side black markings. I also sent pictures to them. The third-party company came out July 5 took pictures and apparently took notes but I dont know what and Ive been dealing with warranty since today August 16, 2022. I havent gotten a call from them, anytime I have spoken to them is when I called and they always tell me theyre going to call back but I never receive a call and I dont know whats going on. I would like a refund of the money that I spent almost $5000 on a bedroom set that I cant even use because I dont want it. I asked for them to send me a new a bedroom set but it seems as though they dont wanna even do that they want to so say repair the furniture. I dont want to repair furniture that is supposed to be new that I just received. I am not happy with this company.American Factory Direct Furniture

I cant afford to do a reselect because I would have to come up with more money. There was one bedroom my daughter seen and it cost more. Financially right now I cant come up with more because my daughter have to have jaw surgery and insurance is not paying for it. I have to pay for it and it is going to cost me ******. Also I cant afford to have a credit because Im paying monthly for it. Its been since February since I ordered the bedroom set so my daughter been without a bedroom set then. I purchased a mattress and my salesperson Airline location told me to sign for the sleep guarantee with warranty and purchase a mattress protector.. needless to say I went back in the store to exchange the firmness number on the mattress I have within the 90 days The store manager informs me that this mattress doesn't come with a sleep guarantee and the salesperson had me to sign something that was incorrect for that product and told me I cannot get a store credit i have to purchase another mattress. Never taking any accountability for their mistake are fixing the situation so now I'm STUCK with the mattress that is hard for me to sleep on.American Factory Direct Furniture
