      Last year we received multiple calls from this company to update our security system. If we did not update: our current equipment would no longer be able to send signals; the company would no longer be able to monitor us; our app would no longer work. We did not update. We have received bills for the past 2 quarters even though we have not been receiving service since the beginning of this year. Finally, when speaking to a manager, she said we were sent a bill because we did not terminate the contract that we signed (WHICH WAS SIGNED ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO!!). When voicemails were left regarding updating the equipment, this contract was NEVER mentioned nor the need to officially terminate. I take ownership for not having officially terminated, however my actions of not updating SHOULD HAVE been clear that services were terminated. At the very least someone from the company should have said something BEFORE it had gotten this far. ALSO, I HAVE MULTIPLE EMAILS FROM THE COMPANY STATING "If we do not hear from you by March 27, 2023 we will cancel any services (and the associated charges) for the referenced site." According to the very letters that they sent to me, I should not have been charged for two quarters of service. IT FEELS VERY SHADY AND UNDERHANDED THAT WE WERE NEVER TOLD/REMINDED TO CANCEL THIS CONTRACT. IT SEEMS LIKE THEY ARE EXPECTING TO MAKE MORE MONEY BY NOT REMINDING CUSTOMERS OF THIS STEP. WE HAD ALWAYS PAID OUR BILLS FOR THE SERVICES RECEIVED. It is also difficult to get in touch with them. No responses to emails sent. The only way to contact someone is by phone call. Attempts through FB messenger to get an email address were not successful. They would only help to sell services, not actual customer service. I think we should NOT have to pay this bill since NO SERVICES FROM VECTOR SECURITY were received during this time period. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
