    I had a contactor switch go out, leaving half of my house without power. Unfortunately, I was working out of state and only my wife was home at the time. The guy checked it out and said everything was fine! I had already had an electrician out so I knew the problem was the contactor. I mentioned this and he went back and agreed that was the problem. He said they had the part in stock and could fix it right away! I agreed and I got an invoice back that charged me for an entire transfer switch that was marked up from $826 to $1,432.38. The contactor is only a fraction of the entire switch. Plus I was charged$40.50 for fuel, $270 for mileage, $440 for labor, $275 for travel time for a total of $2576.05. I called on the invoice and had no joy. These are the same people I had a 'maintenance contract with that they only partially filled. This is not only fraud but extreme price gouging as well. I wouldn't call these people again if they were the last on earth!
