      Several weeks ago, I’ve raised concerns with the school’s director about discrepancies between the promised curriculum and the actual education received. We were unprepared and disappointed with the quality of education, leading to feelings of being misled & scammed by the school. The situation escalated when I was later ridiculed and subsequently suspended for respectfully speaking up for myself and later expelled. The stated reason for these disciplinary actions was a supposed refusal to adhere to the dress code. However, this claim is unsubstantiated, as I have evidence and witnesses to support that the real issue stemmed from my refusal to speak privately with staff due to safety concerns. My experiences include: 1. Discrepancies in Curriculum: The education provided did not align with what was promised, leaving me unprepared and frustrated. 2. Unfair Disciplinary Actions: I was merely ridiculed, suspended, and later expelled under false pretenses, with documented evidence and witnesses refuting the official claims. 3. Safety Concerns: I expressed genuine concerns about speaking privately with the director, which were not addressed appropriately, leading to further punitive measures. -Tuition cost doesn't match the skills acquired or the resources provided -Little to no hands on practice to implement studies -Ridiculed for not having particular credits but weren’t taught the services (I.e makeup, lash application, etc) -Ridiculed for not doing laundry in spa when it’s not our job. -Forced to sell Aveda products to clients. -Left alone in spa without an instructor while clients were present. -Worked on clients when we had no prior practice or experience. -Required to apply our own makeup & color sheets of papers for makeup credits -Syllabus states a particular curriculum that doesn’t amount to what the actual courses were taught— we were scammed - Miscommunication, administrators lie and gaslight the students when we address concerns of the curriculum.
