In reply to review, people have good and bad days and may post anything they like but that does make it true. Mrs. ******** got estimate to replace or repair an old 2" sunroom with single pane glass windows. The windows cannot be order to fit in her 2" wall system. She was given an estimate on 1010/22 with option to replace 2 windows (with double insulated windows which would overlap her 2" wall) and to do repairs on her non-insulated patio cover or to replace the cover with an insulated patio cover and a new 2" wall system with PGT Eze-Breeze vinyl windows (PGT 2" vinyl wall system). Before writing the estimate our sales rep gave her an approximate price to replace with a full 3" glass wall system and insulated patio cover. The customer told the sales rep that the insurance company did not give her enough to replace with a full 3" insulated roof and 3" wall system with double insulated walls. Our sales rep explained the Eze-Breeze vinyl windows have the same R-value as a single pane window but were more durable than glass. He also gave her company brochure and went over the information with her after writing the estimate for her. The customer was not sure if she wanted to replace or to repair so she called the office and the office set up an appointment for me, the project manager to go and meet with her to go and see if her room could be repaired. I meet with customer on 10/25/22 and looked at her room and explained that we could not order single pane glass windows like she had in her room but we could replace the damaged ones with double insulated. I explained that the framing of the windows would not fit into her wall system because it was wider than the 2" wall system. An estimate to replace these windows were written on 10/29/22 and mailed to the customer. Customer called the office several times and in the middle of December 2022 called to get scheduled to finalize. I was scheduled to meet and finalize with the customer on 1/19/23 when customer was available to meet. I meet with her and had both estimates she had received with me. I went over the estimate and at her request gave her verbal price to replace room with a 3" wall system with double insulated glass windows and an insulated patio cover. She told me the insurance company did not give her enough money to replace her enclosure at all and she decided to go with option my sales rep had given her on 10/10/22 to replace her patio cover with insulated patio cover and walls with 2" insulated walls system with PGT Eze-Breeze vinyl Windows. I went over everything with her explaining about the 4-track system and that she will have larger windows. Customer also had the option of choosing what color vinyl she wanted in her room and the color of door handles. Customer called and checked on install with office several times and her installation was started on afternoon of 4/20/23 and completed on 4/24/23. Customer gave final payment to installer on 4/24/23 when the job was completed. She called the office and seemed very pleased with the installation. On 5/3/23 customer called office with a repair in one of the vinyl sections and started complaining saying her neighbor came by and told her that her enclosure was crap and that she got ripped off? She was fussing with office personnel and then myself. I scheduled a crew to go to her house on 5/4/23 and I was in the area on calls and went to her house to verify it was completed and to see what her issues were. I went over what she purchased and she insisted that her neighbor said the product was crap. I open one of the Eze-Breeze vinyl windows and asked her to stump on it and try to break it. She stumped on it with me holding it several times and was unable to break it. I replace the window and punched it to show her it could not be broken. I think she wrote this because she listen to someone who knew nothing about the product and before she allowed me to meet with her to verify her signed invoice. If she did not know what she was purchasing and was not satisfied with the installation, she would have not paid for it. The customer was not deceived and everything from our office personnel to installation was done professionally. Documentation of notes, estimates, signed invoices as well as before pictures and after pictures can be provided Rodney Breaux Jr. Professional Patios & Screenrooms, Inc.
