On August 16, 2022 I went to BNR auto repair center to pick up my 2015 dodge ram pick up **** upon arrival I was given a bill in the amount of $1625 prior to repairs over the phone I was quoted $1050 this was for air conditioner work . Reluctantly I paid and proceeded to get to pick up my truck. I paid the repairs not agreeing with the amount but nevertheless made my payment preparing to leave when I got into my truck put the keys in the ignition I noticed that the seatbelt light was staying on in the dash which was not on when I arrived. I went back inside to inform the owner who came out and checked it said he had not noticed it on when the truck was dropped off. I was told by the owner that he would call when he had an opening to look into the issue as of this date October 10, 2022. I have not been contacted by anyone with the company and since that issue the weather has changed and is getting a little cooler so I put the heater and smoke started coming out of the vent areas no heat so they not only did not fix the original problem they Created us more issues. My son-in-law and I tried to see what we could do to correct the problem and upon investigation we found that the mechanic left 2 clamps on heater lines. We removed the clamps and heater started working. The airbag light is still on. So basically I paid $1600. To fix an AC problem and ended up having airbag light issue and heater not working. By the way the mechanic denied he was at fault. Owner believed him I guess because I still have not heard from owner. But finding the clamps is proof that mechanic is at fault.

On initial inspection of Mr. ******** truck, I gave him an estimate to replace the heater core and evaporator core. When I called him with the estimate, I informed him that the radiator condenser fan motor may need to be replaced also. This would be an additional charge for the condenser fan motor. He told me to fix whatever needed to be replaced. He wanted his a/c fixed. We did have to change the Radiator condenser fan motor. That is where the extra charge came from. When **************** paid for the repairs, he was upset for the extra charge, and I explained to him what the extra charge was for. He paid for his repairs and a short while later came back and said that his air bag light was on and that it was not on when he brought his truck in for repair. I checked with my technician, and he informed me that the light was on when he pulled the truck in to the shop for the A/C repairs. At that point I was not able to check the truck out myself for the light and told ****************** that I would call him when we would have more time to bring his truck in for us to check it out. I did call him at a later date and left a message for him to call me. I never heard from him again. I did not hear from ****************** again. I was however made aware that he had posted a bad ****** review about my shop. I took it for granted that he did not want us to work on his truck any further. He still has never called me back either.
Concerning his heater not working. I was not aware of his heater not working until I received this message from the BBB. ****************** has never called or contacted me regarding this matter. I did check with my technician, and he did tell me that he has 2 hose clamps missing and that he very possibly could have left them on Mr. ******** truck. We use those clamps to stop excess antifreeze from leaking into the truck when we remove the heater core. I agree that was a mistake by us. Again ****************** never called or contacted me to tell me his heater wasnt working. The fact that he did not contact is another reason I took it for granted he no longer wanted us working on his vehicle. That was our mistake I admit to it but would have been a simple fix if he had simply called me. He still has not called back to see when we could check his air bag light either. I have been in business for over 40 years. The technician that performed his work has been employed with me for over 15 years. I stand behind my work. I am still willing to check out his air bag light at no charge. The cost of repair depends on what the problem is. If it is something we did it will be of no charge to him. If it is not caused by something that we did he would be given an estimate on the repairs. It would be appreciated if he would also return the clamps found on the heater hoses. I believe since he has not contacted me that he does not want us to work on his truck. What would ****************** want to resolve this issue.
