On July ***************************************************************************** *****. In order to enter the business, we had to walk past and through people smoking right outside and it triggered my allergies to the point where I could not enjoy the movie. I attempted to talk with a manager and she was extraordinarily apathetic, asking me to look online for how to file a complaint. When I finally figured out how to do so, it was never addressed, so this is my next option. It is unacceptable to allow a small number of patrons to literally poison the air for everyone else and Ive spoken with people who stopped going to the movies because of this. Businesses are losing patrons because they insist on catering to the one in four people who refuse to respect others. Its unhealthy and exposure to secondhand smoke one time can progress into cancer later in life. It is especially dangerous to children and inhibits typical cellular growth. That this business doesnt protect their patrons/consumers in unacceptable and research has shown that No Tobacco policies INCREASE patronage and LOWER healthcare premiums for businesses and employees because they are much more likely to quit smoking.I would like to be contacted by someone who has the authority in corporate to work with my on discussing this policy. I am a third year PhD student who has been researching this for almost three years; I know all the adverse health effects and what the scientific literature reveals. Please set an example for other businesses and let me help you. Until then, I cannot return to this theater.***********************
