    When I purchased my home in ****, the prior owner had Audubon Gutters installed and they told me that in the contract it states that Audubon Gutters will come out and clean them once a year. In **** a tree fell and did a slight damage to the front of the gutter and they told me I had to replace the entire gutter. Well I was displaced until 2006 and when I returned no one came out to talk about it again. The last time they were out to clean the gutters was in 2019 - then COVID hit and haven't called them until July, 2022 to come out. The ********************* came out and said that I needed to replace all of the gutters that the ones I have are discontinued. Then said that they cannot clean them bc they could damage the existing gutter! This is total BS...I have spoken to several customers who have had the same problem. It is not my problem that the gutters that were installed are discontinued. I read the contract and no where did it state if gutters were discontinued they could not be cleaned.Then Ray said that I had damage in several areas - I called someone out to check and they said that Audubon Gutters is trying to make me pay for new gutters which are costly! This company does not stand behind what they preach!!!

    In response to Review ID ***** Please find attached photos of the gutters which are damaged. The contract does not state that we will clean the gutters once a year. The warranty information is that if a customer has any problems with their ********************** not draining properly due to debris that possibly got into their gutter, we will clean the gutters with no charge. The homeowner would need to let us know as we are not aware of problems unless contacted. The gutters on this house are at least ************************************************************************************* **** (after ******* ?) and was told that the gutter would need to be replaced in 2006 why would the homeowner wait until 2019 to call for a clean out and again not take the advice that the gutter is damaged and would need to be replaced? If a customers gutters have been damaged by tree limbs etc. we do not repair or replace gutters with no charge as the gutter was damaged and will not function as intended when installed. The homeowners gutters have damage in several areas and from the pictures attached someone bent the gutter in several areas to try to reshape them. We have advised that the gutters be replaced as they will not function as intended due to obvious damage and can no longer be maintained due to the damage. It is not our fault that the homeowner has chosen to not replace the damaged gutter. It was advised in 2019 that the gutter needs to be replaced or it will continue to clog.The contract does not say that if a gutter is discontinued that it cannot be cleaned. Again, we are not trying to get out of cleaning the gutters. The gutters are damaged. The pictures are obvious that they are damaged, and we are not able to maintain gutters in this condition because they will continue to clog. If the homeowners gutters were not damaged there would not be an issue. The gutter that the homeowner currently has on the house is a small Leaf Guard gutter that is no longer available as the ******* ****************** has discontinued this gutter several years ago. A Large Leaf Guard gutter is the only one that is available. To replace the homeowners damaged gutters, they will need to be replaced with a Large Leaf Guard gutter and, if the Small Leaf Guard Gutter would still be available there would not have had any difference in cost. The representative gave the homeowner an estimate to replace their damaged gutters as the gutters cannot be repaired.
