On April 24, 2014 A&T Pool Doctor Leak Detection Company (Alex) agreed to perform a leak detection at my home for my underground swimming pool. He charged me a rate of $250/hour. He began the process but stated he had to replace the pool valves because they were not good and he need to do that first before he could complete the leak detection. Since he could not complete the job, he charged me the hourly rate and 1/2 the price of the pool valves that he had to purchase. The total amount for the initial visit and 1/2 the price of the pool valves came to $925.00 which I sent to Mr. Alex via PayPal as he requested on 4/28/24. When he came back to replace the valves, he noticed roots by the pipes underneath the ground where he needed to replace the valves. He suggested we call a landscaping company to remove the roots and to call him to come after that has been done to replace the valves. A couple of weeks after, I contacted Mr. Alex who stated he was on vacation & he would contact me after he got back. I texted and called several times with no response. On Tues. 6/11/24, I called him & he stated he would call me on Fri., 6/14 to let me know when he would be there on Mon. 6/17. On 6/18, I called back & told him if he didn't respond by 6/21 that I will take further action. He has not returned any calls or texts. He took $925 from me and I am left with pool cut pool valves and my pool is not functional. I have to retain another company to fix his mess.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by A&T Pool Doctor Leak Detection regarding complaint ID 21883738, however my complaint has NOT been resolved.

He has not tried at all to remedy the problem. He never addresses the issue that he abandoned the job. Nor has he even addressed a solution or try to come out and fix the pool. He avoids all of it, including responding to this claim.
