The contractors **** and ******************* have not answered their phones since I paid them the $9, 500. 00 deposit. They immediately cashed that check on August 16, 2022. I have also emailed ****, with no response. At this point I am so afraid. I am an older adult with cancer. I would prefer a refund of my deposit, so that I can pay a trustworthy contractor. I found this company on BBB, so I also feel that BBB needs to know as well as customers. I called today and left voicemails on both of their phones. **** called with half a ring. I called right back and he did not answer. He called to hang up, not to talk to or update me. Its as if he wanted my phone to show he called but he didnt let a full ring occur. I have reached ***** wife at the business number until that number was changed. When State Farm sent the money and I emailed ****, he called from a different number so I kept that one. I signed an agreement with them on June 9, and then paid them $9,500. on August 15. I drove to the business address to try to speak to them but it is a house in a neighborhood. Please help me. Perhaps I am an easy target. On Thursday, September 1, I called **** and **** because they told me they could start that Monday, August 29 and they didnt show up. They didnt respond to my call. So I reached ***** wife and she relayed the message because the night of September 1, **** did call to say they would begin Tuesday after Labor Day, Septiembre 6. I waited and by Thursday, September 8, no one came or called. Again, no- show. I called ***** wife and she said she would contact them, but no one has contacted me. I left voicemails again on their phones and emailed **** Friday night. I am so afraid. Please help me.

Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention. We take all complaints seriously and strive to provide
the best possible service for our customers.
We are a licensed and certified building and solar contracting company in the state of Louisiana with over 20yrs
    experience.
In this case, the customer was referred to us by the BBB to replace half of her roof due to hurricane damage.
Upon inspection, we noticed that the roof needed a full replacement and were able to facilitate this through
her insurance company. We also found additional damage and were able to get the insurance company to
replace all of the siding on her home.
We understand that the customer is unhappy with the time it took to complete the project. However, there
were external factors beyond our control that contributed to the delay. Due to supply chain problems and the severity of Hurricane Ida, insurance companies are taking longer to settle claims. As of today, we still have not
    been paid in full.
We did everything in our power to expedite the process and ensure that she received a full roof and siding
replacement through her insurance company. We are still as of today in contact with her insurance company in
order to get her depreciation released as she is having a hard time doing so on her own.
We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this complaint and hope that this explanation provides some
    clarity on the situation.
