    I assisted someone in purchasing a vehicle from Dons Automotive July 8th 2024 buy trading in my 18 wheeler truck to assist with the down payment. I was supposed to receive a check for the remaining balance of the truck I was told within 24 to 48 hours after the trade in. It has been over two weeks and day after day I have been getting told this should be handled today and then comes tomorrow without a phone call. The only reason I even get updates is because I have called daily chasing information. I myself is a small business owner and this situation has been handled in a way that is very displeasing and somewhat unprofessional

    The reason we have NOT yet issued the customer a check, is because the vehicle that was purchased when the 18-wheeler was traded in, has not yet been funded. We are trying to keep the deal together, but *********** is trying to get proof of Said business to verify employment...and on the website, their phone number or email address listed are not active. We are more than likely going to have to take our vehicle back and return the 18-wheeler to the customer.

    Mr. ***** *********** cannot get funded through the bank. We have tried several co-signers. The only way you would have ever gotten a check for the 18-wheeler is if the truck he was purchasing would have been funded by the bank. Mr *********** is bringing the truck he purchased back to our dealership today and we are returning your 18-wheeler to you. There was a lot of fraudulent activity on this deal as well...example...fake check stubs and bank statements. You are welcome to contact the financial institution for more information on that side. If you have any questions, please contact Mr *********** going forward. He has spoken to our general manager and agreed to return the truck.

    I am rejecting this response because: I am disappointed that this situation has resulted in a negative outcome. In hindsight, my lack of business knowledge may have contributed to the deal falling through, which has impacted both myself and my employee, who is also a friend.As a small business owner, full-time employee, part-time worker, and single mother of four, I would not have taken the risks and incurred the losses had I known from the outset that the deal was not fully approved and was contingent upon various factors. It has been a challenging experience,  you are now accusing Mr. *********** of fraud on this platform but messaging him as if that is not the case.  Accusing him of fraud is accusing my business of being fraudulent as well as the text message sent to Mr. *********** states that I (****** *****) had nothing to do with the deal not funding which is contradicting because the original reason for this deal having funding issues was because *********** the original finance company that originally approved this deal as well as did a welcome call with Mr. *********** claimed my Business contact information was not up to date with the Secretary of State. And I was told to update that information and the deal should fund but now to justify your wrong doings you accuse Mr. *********** of fraud. I am attempting to get things rectified with this complaint my intentions are not to cause problem as the text message from a representative at Dons Automotive states.  That message was sent to Mr. *********** earlier today.

    I purchased a 2019 toyota tundra on august 5th 2022. the truck is now in the shop being repaired. i cant get a straight answer on what is going on but i know they are having to do stuff to make certain parts fit which i am sure will mess up the vehicle in the long run. i have been without my truck for three days and they tell me they can't help me with a vehicle till mine is repaired. I have to pay out of pocket for a loaner that i can't afford. i spent over 50 grand on the truck. They ae trying to resolve the issue but the work that they are doing will more than likely hurt the truck in the long run. This is not the first time with me as a customer or other customers.

    Dons knew about the issue before selling it. Then after they repaired they did not do the realignment. I have to come out of pocket for the realignment.

    I'm not sure what else to respond at this point. Seems there is some confusion on Mr. Holloman's part.  I attached the paperwork on the last reply, clearly showing the work that was done, including an alignment. Our salesperson has spoken to Mr. Holloman several times, and none of this has ever been brought up to anyone here. Our salesperson also intentionally tried reaching out to Mr Holloman last week after the review we received, and Mr Holloman did not answer his call or call him back as of today.
