Zero stars. I booked this lady a year in advance for my wedding cakes. We did a tasting with her. I also have multiple emails with invoicing, the wedding date, and details. I paid her in full a month before the wedding and went over details of what was expected for the wedding day. I DID NOT get my wedding cakes on my wedding day. I was informed my cakes were not at the reception. When I tried to call the owner from my phone multiple times on my wedding day, she would not answer. My bridesmaid called her and she answered on the first ring. When speaking to her, inquiring why my cakes were not at the reception, she proceeded to say she must of got her dates picked up. No remorse from her was shown on my wedding night. I told her she is obviously going to receive a terrible review for this. It wasn’t until the day after my wedding she offered to make my cakes for free to save herself. I didn’t want the cakes for free. We wanted the cakes we paid for on our wedding night. I cannot disapprove of this business more.

Emily, I am so sorry for this massive mistake on my part. It was a horrible oversight and is completely inexcusable. I regret deeply that my sense of remorse wasn’t conveyed properly, I was also in shock that something like this could have happened. I did not recognize your phone number, and it was only once a second number started calling that I realized there may be a problem. My apologies to you, your best friend, and your husband on the phone, and the email I sent you shortly after the phone call apologizing and offering to make the cakes at any point in the future for you free of charge along with sending a full refund that night came from a very genuine place. I know these apologies and offers did not change what happened, but they were the only retributions I could make once the wedding reception was in motion. Though I know this doesn’t change what has happened with your wedding day, I am working very hard to make sure this singular situation doesn’t happen to anyone else. This unprecedented and momentous mistake has led to structural changes and triple-check systems for how I use my calendar/schedule. Once again, I am deeply sorry for this horrible error.
