I cannot reiterate what these other people have said about this company enough! I am not writing this to be ugly, I am writing this to warn off people not to build their “forever” home with Manual Builders, who falsely advertises “custom built” homes. I cannot describe the amount of disappointment that I feel. You wait 12 years to finally build a home on your perfect piece of property and that all goes down the toilet when you hire this builder. Long, long, long story short. Listen to us when we say this builder does not care one bit about "your" home and “their” work as the builder. EVERYTHING is subcontracted and an excuse is given for EVERYTHING so that it does not have to be fixed properly!!!! And don't bother contacting lawyers or other contractors because they have them all in their back pockets and any work done by someone other than "their contractors" will void your warranty. This is a quote from their website: “At Manuel Builders, we don’t just want to build your house, we want to build your home. We understand that this is a big decision and that the process can seem overwhelming. We are here for you.” This is the furthest thing from what happens during and after the building process. This “local, family-owned business” cares about one thing only…. MONEY. They could care less about the amount of money the middle-class families have to pay to get into a house and then once they’re in it have to deal with all the mistakes, incompetence and rude people that could care less about the crappy work they did in “your home”, because let’s face it…. they got paid. And good luck ever getting the owners to come see “your home” that is associated with “their” name. The saddest part of it all, is that you end up feeling like the idiot who hired them because you took them at their word. Don’t make the mistake of going with “a bulk builder” who just wants your money.Manuel Builders

You have had an open invitation to do right by my family since we signed a contract to build our home with you. You are always welcome to come and fix all of the mistakes and poor craftsmanship done by your contractors. Instead, you send "supervisors" to come tell me all the things you are not going to fix and that there is nothing that can be done for all the dysfunctional things in my house. I see one of the previous customers put in a complaint with photos. I bet her home hasn't been fixed properly either, cause like she said, Manuel is a joke. You wouldn't want me to add all of the pictures of cracking cement, leaking windows, all three exterior doors not installed properly, no wall insulation, huge gaping cracks in front post, siding not installed properly, a cheap dysfunctional garage door and I can go on and on and I have been in my house less then 2 years! All of these things, in addition to my A/C unit "not being installed properly". You know, most middle class people go with Manuel because they think they will be covered for all those little things that can go wrong during a build, but on the contrary, not only are they not little things, but most are huge things and they will never be taken care of because Manuel DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR WORK...PERIOD!!!!!!! Instead, they like to say...oh, you didn't pay to upgrade to a better product or my personal favorite "the chair you bought to go at your island in your kitchen is what caused your floor to crack!!!! The funny part, is that flooring was an upgrade:-)!!!Manuel Builders

Very poor craftsmanship, they use third party labor from other countries, and refuses to take responsibility for any defects during building of our home. We have nail pops & sheetrock tape separating from the sheetrock that Manuel Builder refuses to do anything about because they say we only have a one-year warranty on cosmetics but most of this didn't happen until after a year was up. We had a water leak in our Livingroom wall after four years of living in our home, this was caused by a nail in the waterline from when they installed the siding, and Manuel Builders refused to do anything about it because it's not covered in the warranty. This was not a warranty issue; this was a builder's defect that they should cover! Building a new home, DO NOT USE Manuel Builders!Manuel Builders

Manuel Builders is a joke. We have been in our BRAND NEW house 7 months and already have mold in the guest bathroom, carpeting is coming up in 2 bedrooms, molding is coming away from the doors and floors the list is ENDLESS. The superintendent Stephen is a joke. Complaints are not taken serious and are not followed up on. I have made numerous request only to have them cancelled. They are too worried about cranking out a house that barely meets inspection then its on to the next one. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. (Photographic evidence as proof to all claims).Manuel Builders

This company will short hand you in the fine writing of the contract when dealing with work not being completed properly. They also do not report all your issue regarding home warranty to the proper channels. During the entire building process the supervisor over the construction project claimed he done his job by inspecting the work being done in which it wasn't. (have photographic evidence) When trying to get the issues resolved you have to jump through a ring of fire just to get any type of feedback. This company doesn't care about any issues and will do the bare minimum. Definitely do not recommend this company at all.Manuel Builders
