    I purchased from this business. The item was damaged when it got to me. the company doesn’t think the amount of damage warrants replacement because it doesn’t look that bad in their opinion. I disagree with their opinion. When I purchase an item, I expect the item to reach me undamaged.

    It was explained to the customer that because of the
    natural inconsistencies of brick, some chipping is to be expected.  When
    doing our quality checks on these items, we check to be sure the front of the
    brick is presentable.  In viewing the picture of the front of the brick
    that the customer sent, we did not see any chipping from the front that would warrant a complete
    replacement.  We did however, offer a redo at 50% off to the customer.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    presentable is not okay with me. This is not chipping but a gouge that I see whenever I look at the brick. You can refund me half of the price and I will repair it myself.

    I will make sure to spread the word about your shoddy workmanship.

    Thank you for reaching out, at this time Awardmaster will not refund half of the purchase price.  At this point, we don’t feel there is anything more we can say that would resolve this matter for you.  We believe that a replacement or partial refund is unwarranted as the product is a brick and is a natural stone that will have natural defects. The defect in question is on the back of the product that does not affect the aesthetic of the what the product is meant to look like upon completion.  As previously stated, we will honor a redo at 50% off.
