    We purchased an AC unit from them 7 years ago and it came with a 10 warranty. They came out April 2023 and looked at the unit and our compressor is out and now they are telling me that the warranty is not good. The first reason I was give was that we did not register it online so it was not good then I told them we were never told it had to be registered, and that the registration paper was still inside the unit when they came to work on it so how would we have even known to register it. Then I was told that the warranty is only good if they do maintenance on it 2 times a year, and the warranty paper does not say that anywhere on it. So, I asked where it says on the warranty that we had to have the maintenance every year and he said that it’s not on the paper, but I would have been told that. When I said I was not told that and asked for a copy of the paperwork that says I turned down the warranty he does not have anything.

    here is a copy of the warranty that was still inside the unit when they came out to work on it.  they left it inside the unit and never even gave it to us to fill out

    The equipment should have been registered by the owner but understand that our service tech may have not conveyed this to the home owner.

    As far as the maintenance agreement we ask that you purchase a maintenance agreement at $179.00  twice a year to make sure the equipment is being maintained.i.e.wash the condenser coil,change the filter,check refrigerant charge,check capacitor.

    With that said,we will honor the warranty this time but ask that you purchase a maintenance agreement for the next 3 years to continue the warranty.

    If not,this will be the final warranty.

    We will contact the owner to sent up a time to make the repairs.
