    My AC started having problems when I moved in. They did touchup work here and there my AC always made a bad noise. This been going on since May 2021 I let them know all the time and in December it went out and I have been calling and texting since then now the heater and AC Does not work at all even when the cold cold storm hit with the snow me and my family was stuck in our home freezing below 6 degrees an May 28. I also contacted them. The man came and said he could not fix it and me and my family has been very very cold maintenance have not been doing their job and the front office refused to give me corporate number. She stated that no one can talk

I pay my rent on time and a lot of times before time and can’t even get work orders taken care of for my AC nor heater and as well as other issues that I’m having with my trailer. there is also mold on my ceiling as well as brown looking color throughout my walls. We was also notified that they will be going up on maintenance charge that I have been paying since I moved in and have yet to have any completed work done every time maintenance come over it’s always they can’t fix it. They never call or check I demanded everything be fixed ASAP im working order as well. I’m demanding credit on my account for all the issues I’m having that has not been addressed and as well as me paying for rent and not having no AC, nor heat in my home my kids are constantly sick because it’s so cold in here. !!!!!!

    Per business response: 

    The day we spoke with BBB  I reached out to the property manager and to the tenant. We got a crew out to her unit to check all issues and then we took care of them. The lead on this will also do a complete walk through and make sure everything is working properly. I will say, some of the issues she thought was for our company to take care of were not on us. Some were just wear and tear from living in the unit and these things are for the tenant to take care of. I will be checking with the lead and the property manager again on Monday to make sure things are being taken care of.

    Southern pointe LLC have been over charging me amounts not agreed upon in the lease agreement. This is $40 a month for cutting lawn when we cut our own grass since 2022 (which is stated in the lease agreement writing conspicuously from the rest of the wording on the paper) $35 a month for common area maintenance fee which there is no common area where, $45 a month for water and $ 35 for sewer a month wen in the lease it states we are to use 3rd party utilities (this was since beginning of 2023. I reached out to them they said “Louisiana allows us to add any amount of fees we want long as they don’t raise the rent”! So they added all these fees instead. That was the first time the second time I spoke to the property management she said “ we shudnt have cut the grass because they added the lawn care that I have to pay because I received a move in special”. That’s not what she told to me and my husband before moving in. On top of deceptive practice advertising half of rent them once we filled out the application and we put a home-hold fee of $400, them added $450 separating the rent for the land (i.e lot rent) taking the $400 of each month then add back more than she discounted. The contracts were altered after signing separately, she added our signature together altering the signatures on the lease. The time stamps on our names are at different time being signed. I’m disabled and on a fixed income (i.e limited funds which she was informed, I gave been

    having to decide if I’m to pay rent, utilities or get my medication). This has harmed me in more than 1 way). I also have 2 disabled children having to go without so I can make sure there is a roof over their heads!!!
