Schedules a basic alignment for my tires on my Chevy. Parts came up missing from my truck and my wife had taken the vehicle for the alignment, so when they returned the vehicle to her the tire was crooked and practically hanging off by the time she made it home. Now I’m having to pay even more cost totaling $400 to fix this issue. I spoke with a ****** ******** who is the store manager and he said he’d take a look at it but when I went he gave me the run around and expected me to drive on this wheel practically falling off. Now I’ve opted to go to a shop who will fix the problem cause this tire could cause a major accident. All I want is my refund for the alignment they didn’t do and caused more problems plus what it cost me to fix the problem they created.

I’m sending in the receipt for the alignment I got with pumpelly. Then as you can see with the **** ****** receipt I had to go somewhere else to make corrections because of what pumpelly did. I’m showing proof and providing receipts of how much I had to spend to correct all of this and make my truck drivable and safe

We’re sorry to hear of Mr. M****’s dissatisfied experience with us. Below is a detailed account of what transpired and our offer to resolve the case.

      June 12, 2024
A customer visited our shop seeking an estimate for ball joint replacement. We quote the customer but he declined our service and chose to have the work done elsewhere.

      June 18, 2024
The customer's wife returned to our shop requesting an alignment. Upon inspection, we discovered that the ball joints had been installed incorrectly at another shop. Specifically, the dowel pins for the cams on the upper control arms were not reinstalled, causing the vehicle's alignment to be severely off, rendering it nearly undrivable.

Our team explained the situation to the customer's wife, noting that while we could realign the vehicle, it would only be a temporary fix without replacing the missing dowel pins. We asked his wife to contact us so we could explain in more detail the issue and next steps to prevent additional damage. We performed an alignment on the vehicle that day.

      June 21, 2024
The customer returned, complaining that a tire was leaning inward, which was a result of the missing dowel pins thus preventing the vehicle from maintaining alignment. Our manager, ****** ********, reiterated that we had informed the customer's wife about the initial issue and the temporary nature of the alignment. We offered to fix the parts correctly, but the customer declined again, preferring to go to another shop. ****** offered to assist with the cost of the alignment once the ball joints were properly installed.

      Final visit
The customer returned a fourth time, demanding reimbursement for $500 spent on having the ball joints reinstalled correctly at another shop.

Being that we did not perform the initial ball joint installation, we cannot reimburse him for work we did not do. However, we are willing to reimburse the customer the cost of the alignment we performed, which was $126.67. We made attempts to call him and leave a voicemail to discuss the matter.

I purchased two new tires for my front driver and front passenger sides. I drove home and back to work with a huge vibration. I called the buisness early Friday am and explanned my vibration in my front. I brought back my car and they brought back my car with a broken rim in my rear passenger side. I was sitting on 10lbs of air in my tire at work. They explained the weld broke on a tire that they should have never touched to begin with. I was sent on my way on my donut. With no solution.

After investigating the activities at the store, I called
the customer. The call lasted over 20 minutes but the short version is she had
a rim which, previous to bringing the car in, had impacted a pothole in the
road. She paid the company ‘********* ************************* ** *****, LA to weld/repair the rim. We found the rim to be leaking through the
      previously welded area.
After the report to BBB, she sent the rim
back to ******** to be re-welded. She thought we made it leak and that we
should pay for the re-weld. Our tire changing machines are very expensive and
intricately designed to not so much as scuff rims when changing tires. As a
result, I am not at all convinced we cracked the weld but I defaulted to giving
her the benefit of the doubt, and agreed to pay for re-welding. I may add, not
knowing to what extent her wheel needed welding, we routinely have rims welded
locally for $50. The shop in ***** charged us $180 to reweld a wheel they had
recently charged her $200 to weld.
Additionally, I had an agreement with her to bring the car
in Thursday 9/26 at 3 pm so we could go over all aspects of the wheels and
tires in her presence so we could be certain of the condition of each wheel,
tire and the vehicle itself. I called her Wednesday to confirm the Thursday
visit and after 1 ½ rings, the call terminated. There was no voicemail option
and an attempt to text her did not go through. She did not show or call
      Thursday.
