    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    this person is not being truthful, when I seen the car key that was provided I asked for a prop key that unlocks the doors Or a refund and the lady sped off in a van and was never heard from again. Furthermore the quality of the vehicle has nothing to do with the car key I purchased. The lady assumed she could give a lower standard of a car key because the car had been in an auction. I use this company before for a vehicle from an auction in New Orleans and was always given a key that unlocked the doors by pressing a button. This company is a SCAM and I want a refund .

    Customer requested a key for a vehicle he bought from auction.  He was quoted $235 to cut and program a basic transponder key to start car.  This is normally the key customers want at auction yards. At this particular point, they don't even know if the car is running or not.   It would be very unusual an auction customer wants the most expensive key available for a vehicle.  

    The car was behind the gate while we made the key, since the vehicle had not been paid for or released by ******************* Towing.   We made the key; **************** released the vehicle, and the car was brought out.   He noticed it was a non-remote key at this point and requested a remote key.  A remote key was offered at this time for the price difference, and he declined to pay the difference for the upgraded key while we were there.  The customer was charged appropriately for the key he was provided.

    I stand by my previous response.  The customer was charged appropriately for the key he was obtained.  He was not charged for the key he is describing.
