I received service on 12/20/2024 at Avalon nail spa. After the nail tech finished my nails the owner ranged me up. I feel the owner price gouged me. I kept asking her about the excessive charges and how the work received did not match the price she gave I have been there 2 or 3 times prior and the charge is never that outrageous. Had I not paid her she would have called the police on me. It is against the law to price gauge customers she have no visible posting on charges I did not get any service outside of what I normally get and I always pay approximately $120 and the highest $130. This owner took advantage of me and I would like something done about it. She will tell you I got this and that done but it is the usual service and I didnt get a full set this time I got a refill so I know she took advantage of me. I do have pictures of past service and receipts for comparison if needed. Please tell the owner I am willing to provide those. She will say I got the spa pedi for $55 and for the gel on my toes and my nails but I always get the same thing and this time it should have been less because I got a refill not a full set. The nail design was just polish and the trinkets was just 4 total. 1 big toe he added a nail. She just added whatever she could to drive the cost up. Like I originally stated I get similar service and this time was no difference except it shouldve been less because I got a refill and not a full set . She will have many more complaints for lying and ripping customers off. Please help with this review the pictures does this look like $202 of work. I have never been charged this by any nail salon. This is the first. It doesnt make sense how a business can get over on a consumer and you have no choice but to pay and fight back later. Everybody I talk to about this even people the so nails state that is price gouging
