      I am writing as I have had intermittent issues with trash pick up for several years. I contaced the public works office(Ms. *******) and complained of no pick up as well as requested a return call from the supervisor. I never received a call back until a month ago from ***** ********. I advised him of the ongoing issue and coming back from travel to find trash that had not been emptied for quite awhile. I advised him that per the length of time and documentation of this, I had spoken with someone reagrding adjustments to the bill as I did not receive the service. Mr. ******** assured me that he would handle the situation. The issue still has not been handled. I have had one other day of no pick up as well as no adjustments to my account.

      I
      spoke with Ms. ****** in great length on June 3, 2025. She has experienced issues
      with delayed garbage collection; however, the delay has never exceeded 24
      hours. For example, her normal garbage pick up day is Tuesday. If, for some
      reason, her garbage is missed on Tuesday, she is immediately emptied the
      following day.

      She
      has a “needs assistance” sticker. It is common for residents to have the
      containers in locations where the stickers can’t be identified by the garbage
      crews. I thoroughly explained the importance of the container being placed in a
      location that is readily identifiable as I’m sure this has played a key role in
      the can being missed.

      Ms.
      ****** is seeking an adjustment to her garbage bill; however, I do not believe
      a credit is due to her for several reasons. First, the resident has not
      experienced any delays with garbage collection over the last several months.
      Next, she is upset that a city owned container was removed from her residence
      because she is only paying for 1 container but was using 2. Third, by her own
      admission, there has never been more than a one-day delay in emptying her
      garbage. Finally, there have been zero issues over the last several months with
      her garbage being emptied on her regularly scheduled day which means the issue
      has been resolved.  

      Unfortunately, she was not satisfied and stated she
      wouldn’t be until she received an adjustment, although she appreciated my
      efforts.
