    I moved my ***************************************************, from the Summer House Vista Shores Assisted living on 7/1/23 as advised from her PCP, ************************, on 6/13/23. She was on a level 3 nursing care @ Summer House and ************* advised us to move her to a skilled nursing unit or a memory care because of her declining health. I gave ***************** note and my written notification to move her out on 7/1/23. I was told that she would still be charged for her room until 7/13/23 since they received my written notice on 6/13/23, even though I emailed them on 5/30/23 to tell them of our intent to move. On 7/5/23, Summer House withdrew with *** for her whole month, $4,364, instead of just about $1400 for the 13 days. I was told on 7/10/23 from **** in their business office that a credit was applied and that it would go back to her checking account where the *** was withdrawn within 5 days. Then on 7/17/23, after filing a complaint with their owner, Discovery Senior Living Holdings, LLC, I was told a check was going to be sent in the mail. I spoke to ******************************* from the corporate office and he said to let him know when I received the check. Now, 7/24/23, and still no check and no response by email from *******************************. They own us $2,964 and I have been trying since 7/5/23 to get the refund.
