  On 9/27/2022, the Landrieu Concrete & Cement Industries, LLC supplied concrete for my new driveway. The concrete person who spread the concrete told me to not walk or driveway for a week. I waited two weeks to walk and drive on the driveway.A few days later, I noticed that there was dusting, efflorescence and micro fiber on top of the concrete. I have been sweeping the dust almost every other day. Also, I noticed that there seemed to be water seepage coming to the top of the new concrete from 4 or 5 areas for the new concrete. As of 12/1/22, even though it hasnt rained in the last 5 days, the signs of the seepage are always there.I never requested any additional water to the concrete. The only additional was micro fiber to the concrete.I called this company on 11/8/22 and told a supervisor name **** and he told me that he would see what could be done. I left my name and phone number but didnt received a call back. I again called on 11/28/22 at 3:43pm, and spoke to someone named ***. I told him about my conversation with supervisor **** and I asked him if someone could come to my home to look at the problem and make any suggestions. He was to call me the next day. I never received a call back. On 11/30/22 at 4:38 pm, I spoke to **** again and asked him if someone could come to my home about the problem. He mentioned that he may speak to someone named **** who has something to do with quality control. He also mentioned something about a finishing issue. He said that he would call me at 10:00am on 12/1/222. It is 1:17pm pm and I am still waiting for a call back.I have called this company approximately 5 times but I have never gotten help or call back.

  Please accept the below as our formal response to this complaint:

   

  **** (Dispatch Manager) and **** (QC Manager) both spoke to ****************** and notified him that dusting is caused mainly by the surface area being weakened (see industry information attached last page). ****************** was told by LCCI that the finishing crew he used added too much water.  Both trucks arrived to the job with the concrete within the order specification, however, due to over-adding water by the finisher, the concrete was poured out at 9.0 - 9.5in slump (proof attached).  

   

  Also, he was told that he could put a sealer on the concrete to help reduce the dusting after the concrete was poured.   

   

  Unfortunately, we cannot control how much water a finisher chooses to add to the concrete during the time at which it is poured out.  We directed this customer and all parties involved to the best of our abilities.   I think his best course of action would be to follow up with his finisher to inquire further about applying a sealer.  We would be willing to help out by supplying the sealer material at no cost.

   

  First truck showed up with a 6in slump they added 40 gallons.

   

  2^nd truck showed up at a 4in slump and they added 80 gallons.
