    I sent an email to Dark Matters on 11/22/22 stating the following:I bought an adorable fetal pig wet specimen from your shop in **** back in April. Air bubbles have recently started to form and Im wondering if theres a way to remove them? I received a response from *************************** on 02/19/23 apologizing for the late response & provided some options for repairs including sending the item to her shop where she will do the repairs, free of charge, but I will be responsible for shipping costs. This option also indicated a 2-4 week turn-around time. This was the arrangement I agreed to & I mailed my item to her that same day - 02/19/23. Per the tracking #, the item was received by Dark Matter on 02/24/23. I asked ******** to confirm it had been received & she advised the following: My shop helper let me know that it arrived yesterday, but they don't open up repairs. The box looked good, so I'm sure everything inside is okay. I'll pick it up when I work next Wednesday. I did not hear anything from her again so I assumed she was working on the repaira. After 3 weeks on 03/17/23 I emailed ******** asking for a ********** received an automated out of office response stating she would be traveling from 03/17 - 03/25/23 attending an expo in ***************** **. Still not hearing my back by 03/23/2023 I again emailed her asking for a follow up & again I received the same automated email. I emailed her again on 03/31 & she finally responded via email on 04/01/2023 reiterating that she was out of town to which I responded that her initial email to me providing the repair options indicated a time frame 2-4 ********* had heard nothing since she confirmed she received my item. She said it was just her alone & that she would need more time for the repairs. Then on 04/13 she emailed me back stating she repaired my item & would be returning it via ********** pay for the cost of shipping due to the delay & but said that the base of the item had to be repainted due to damage.
