    I have been trying since December to cancel home delivery of the Times Picyune paper. I spoke to a real person (which is no small feat) on 12/18/23 who indicate the the subscription would be cancelled on that date. I have continuied to receive the paper on a daily basis. The subscripion is my brothers and he has been admitted to a nursing home and is not capable of recalling his PIN so I can not go online to get the deloivery cancelled. I called his bank as I am authorized on his checking account and cancelled his monthly automatic payment for the paper. They told me they have people calling all the time with this problem with the Times-Picyaune.

    I have been trying to contact the Times Picayune to cancel my subscription for weeks. The web page gives not place to cancel and the phone systems runs me around in a circle but never lets you speak to anyone about cancelling the subscription. In my opinion, the unavailability to be contacted to cancel is intentional.

    Extra charge added to my subscription without y knowledge or consent made numerous attempts to contact customer service both via telephone and internet was able after several tries to get a human but no one could provide rational for increase in monthly charge I then attempted to just cancel subscription and ran up against the same indifferent assistance the best I could do was leave my phone number with the hope that someone would maybe call me the next day poor I ended up blocking credit card payment option

    I have tried for 3 days to reach somebody in the billing department at the Advocate. I want to actually speak with somebody, which is impossible.

    It is hard to get a hold of someone who will actually handle the issue. I paid an annual subscription of $237.83 to receive the paper 3x's a week. The representative who processed my payment over the phone confirmed and reassured me that will I be receiving the paper 3 x's a week. HOWEVER, I was not told the subscription I signed up for would not deliver my paper on days when there is a special section being published. IF a special section is being published it should be done separately and not in the regular daily paper. Just because they feel like incorporating a special section into the paper on whatever day, those who do not sign up for "Special Section" will not receive the paper for that day. So basically I was told out of a month I will not be receiving the paper atleast 3-4 x's a month. How is this even fair? When I tried to call and address this issue, I ended up with a female who with an ugly attititude claims she is the supervisor and if I wanted she can charge me extra to receive the paper on the days it wasn't delivered. This is horrible and bad business.
