I went to Cash Savers and placed 5 packs of turkey wings in my basket priced $.05 cents/ pack. When I got to check out, they scanned it as $.05 cents a pack and the cashier notified another worker that the meat was very cheap and she responded to give it to the customer, since it was priced as such. Then the meat dept. was notified and a worker came to the register. The meat dept. said that I should know better with the meat priced that cheap and she told me that I was acting like I was dumb. The meat dept. lady called another man, who said if he would give me the meat at that price, he would be loosing $50 and returned the meat back and refused to sell me the meat at the price it was labeled. This store always have cheap discounted items and this is not the first time that customers come to this store because the prices are very affordable. But on this day, I experienced false advertisement and was insulted by the meat dept. lady who told me that I was acting dumb by thinking the meat was $.05 cents/pack. The manager canceled the receipt with me standing there, but I snapped a picture before they took it from me (the receipt shows 1 pack of meat because they refused to ring up the other packs due to the cheap price). I told them that I was filing a complaint because they refused to sell me the packs of meat at the price that it was labeled and responded that they didn't care. They told me they would sell it to me for $50 which is a different price than what the meat was labeled. I want to purchase the 5 packs of meat as it was labeled, $.05 cents/pack to resolve the issue. I want what was advertised and an apology from the store for humiliating me with a store full of customers and refusing to sell me the advertisement price. I'm on disability and a fixed income and when I seen the meat was very affordable for my pockets, I quickly grabbed them, but when I went to check out, I was hurt that the managers refused to sell me the meat due to their mistake. Please help!
