I was enrolled and paid my deposit, I was in the middle of working on my classes when the teacher informed me his was removing me from the class due to the fact my ex and his relationship did not work out. He told my ex he was removing me because he didn’t want to speak to him any more nor want a relationship with him.

Jessica was unenrolled in the program because she would have had to be trained in a very intimate setting with the instructor who was uncomfortable with doing so. We have the right to refuse service and training to anyone we decide is not a good candidate for the program. Jessica was instigating friction and causing havoc between a personal matter and business matter. We decided to refund Jessica the $110 paid and that was stated in the  very first message sent to her. We are very professional and we don't allow any unnecessary drama in our classes or anything that would hinder the other students from learning or making the instructors uncomfortable. She was offered to rejoin the class the following day prior to our knowledge of this complaint.. We offered her to rejoin if there would be no drama and she accepted. Needless to say, Jessica will not be rejoin the class..We are very professional in how we run this business and will not allow a dramatic student to cause havoc.

We joined a Medical Assistant Class called Southern Draw/Southern Medical Assistant to become a certified Nursing Assistant. I paid 1098.00 for the class , me and about 12 more girls The classes was supposed to be from 6pm until 9pm Mon/Wed/and Fri. Our instructor ***** ***** always had an excuse and he would cancel the class. He has an instructor by the name of ******* *******. When we made our last payment he said we no longer had the building because the landlord wouldn’t fix anything. Then we started having zoom with Whitney, which only last about 30 minutes and we only done it about 3 times. She said she couldn’t do zoom any more due to her health issues. Before we really started class he said we had to sell 10 plate lunches at 12, a piece and the money was for graduation and a couple of things for the class. I’ve never seen or heard from ***** ***** since he left. I ask ******* when was graduation, she told me that there’s no graduation and we will get our certification in the mail. I told her that’s not what I signed up for. Is there anyway possible that this is a fraudulent school and can I get my money bach

***** enrolled in the medical assistant program with Southern Medical Training in Opelousas as our first class being held at *** **** ****** ******* ********** ** *****. On our first meeting me and my assistant ******* ******* introduced ourselves to the class and let each one of them introduce themselves. After meet and greet we had students sign documents such as clinical rotation form, liability waiver, attendance and their personal information. We also went over all of our policies and procedures making it very clear to everyone that this was the first medical assistant class and since we had not taught this curriculum before, we couldn't give them an exact finish date but would be 3 to 4 months. I was never to be the medical assistant instructor, ******* ******* was assigned this class. Being that phlebotomy training is a major part of medical assisting we covered that portion first for the first four weeks so that if they chose to pay an additional $400 instead of its original price of $850 they could sit for both the phlebotomy and medical assistant national exams. Regardless, everyone had to complete the material. I taught the phlebotomy portion of the class and then they had a week off and returned to ******* for the remainder of the medical assistant program. At that point my lease was up and I had decided to move to Jennings, La to help family and to hopefully expand services in this area. I no longer had any responsibility for the Opelousas class other than oversee. I was under the impression that everything was going as planned because I had not one student contact me to address any of their concerns or problems. Then in August we decided to vacate the property where classes were being held because it was in great need of repairs and I couldn't get the landlord to address them. The building was built in 1857 and it has issues. Several nights, the students could not use the restroom because the plumbing was stopped up and the air conditioning was also an issue. I had 2 units in a 400sq foot place and still couldn't keep it cool. The floor was rotten in an area of the classroom and someone could have easily went through the floor hurting themselves and I was not comfortable with that situation of possible lawsuits. After many attempts to get it repaired I decided to move the class to a zoom class. I explained to them the situation and not one voiced anything to me about the situation. I assumed everyone was understanding because they were the ones in such environment. I told them that if anyone had a problem with zoom (no computer, no wifi, etc) please reach out to me and I would find another solution. I still heard nothing. ******* became ill and could not meet 3 nights with them and ended up having surgery but she reached out to them explaining the situation and had each one agree that they switch to our "learn from home" hybrid program and she would meet with them once a week via zoom to go over materials and clarify anything that anyone may not understand. They all agreed. This went on for a while. We have a payment policy of $210 down and $210 biweekly on Friday before noon. If payments came after that point they would be charged $50 initially and 4% of their balance daily until it was satisfied. We put this in place when the students refused to make payments on time resulting in the company being late with payroll and other responsibilities such as rent, utilities, supplies etc. It had gotten out of control. ***** asked me if she could pay at 5pm because that is when she got off work and could transfer money from accounts. I approved her request. She paid every cent she owed and NEVER ONCE complained about anything to me or Whitney. Last week I see a request for $267 on cashapp from *****. I was confused and thought it must have been a mistake. I reached out to ******* and asked if she knew anything about this and she tells me that she had became aware of the situation from another student other than ***** that ***** thought we were a scam and that the national certifications were fake and that she signed up for inperson class and not teach myself class. I reached out to ***** in email and explained that we are most definitely not s scam. I have a letter of exemption from the state of Louisiana to advertise and instruct as well as certify through an accredited association which j do, ****. I explained that if she thought the certificate was fake she could contact **** herself and take that up with them. I am backed by several reputable doctors such as Dr. ******* ******, the man who helped me get the business started and Dr. **** ******** I have a clinical contract with ********* ******* ****** ******* and ******** ************* in 4 locations. Before each clinical site signed a contract it went through the legal team and several times taking up to six months to get approved. I carry 3 million dollar insurance on each student to cover in case of malpractice in the lab. I have the business well organized but things out of our control happened during *****'s class. We noticed each student through Google classroom and nothing was said by anyone of the. So we went on with the plans. As for as the picture file of my ******** profiles, those date back to 2005. I was much younger and I either would get locked out of an account and need to create a new one or I was just being a silly 20 year old. You can search each and everyone of those profiles to this day and see that who I was in one I was in all. That has nothing to do with the current situation. When I reached out to ***** she said her husband was upset that there was no caps and gowns for graduation. Well sir, I'm sorry. We chose black scrubs with caps from the votes from our previous students. She wanted to know a date. That I couldn't provide. I am working on that because it's a quarterly graduation. I told her she would not be graduating anyway because she dropped without any notice. She signed a contract when she registered that states if a student cancels a class registration 14 or less days before a class begins there is no refund. If a student drops from a class for whatever reason, there is no refund. If a student cancels more than 14 days before a class there would be a 50% refund after 30 days. We encouraged them to have open communication with us if they had a situation and she knew we were understanding because she had come to me about payments. The fact that she has never once voiced a single concern to me and that she took it upon herself to drop from a class with our proper documentation I told her there would be NO refund. I did offer her to complete the material and sit on the national certification exam but she declined. I do not know what more I can.do.

Unitech charges 18000 for phlebotomy and 36000 for medical Assistant. I offer it for 1098.00 in a much shorter time frame with the same certification. I opened the business to help out my community and surrounding communities get a foot in the door and out of the situation they currently was in. Because of the low cost of tuition, it definitely attracts a population that I can not handle alone. It was overwhelming. This is why policy's and procedures are extremely firm for each and every student no matter who they are. I am a very detailed person and extremely transparent. I probably let students know too much but I do it so that they know exactly what is happening when it happens. This is all I have to say about this situation.

The option to finish the material and test is still open for her but there will be no refund. Yes, scheduling changed a little due to unforseen life happenings but we still carried out the responsibility of presenting the information to complete the program. I will go through our files and pull what I have from *****.

I am rejecting this response because: I will star off by saying before we even started school,
***** told us we had to sell 10 plate lunches at $12 a piece for a grade. He
said the money was for our caps and gowns for graduation and school supplies.
Now that his previous class voted to wear caps and scrubs he said that’s what
they’re wearing. What about what our class thinks we earned the money for it,
so where did the money go? We surely didn’t receive any school supplies, we had
to buy our own books and supplies that we needed for school. I did sign a
paper, ask him to submit the paper to you. I don’t have a problem with the
school, the question is do he have a license to teach or were he certified to
teach the class. He also had excuses for use not having class. The first time
was because it didn’t have lights, the next time was because they had to sand
the floors but he stated that the floors were rotten and I have proof so why
would they want to sand rotten floors. ******* did have surgery on her shoulder
but she returned back to class 3 days afterwards. When we made our last payment
that’s when ***** decided to tell us we no longer had the building anymore
because the landlord didn’t want to repair it He knew how the building looked
before he rented it so that shouldn’t have been the problem in one message he
said his lease was up so I’m confused. While we were paying our tuition he
didn’t have a problem with it but the last payment explained it all. He also
said he have a Clinical Contract with ********* ******* ******** but he told us
we couldn’t do clinical there because we would have to go through the hiring
process, but to my understanding I heard he got fired from ********* ******* ******** back to the subject about the building I know the landlord his name is
******* ******** he works for the Clerk of Court Office in Opelousas, La. I
spoke to him about the building he said ***** made up those excuses because he
owes him rent money he gave me permission to give you his phone number it’s
************* he said you can give him a call because he’s looking for *****
    also.
P.S ***** also said that him and ******* stayed in
touch with each other but he said in the text he sent me that he wasn’t aware
    about this going on

    Sincerely,

    Janet *******
