    I ordered a package from ****** that was sent to **** ******* in Dallas and was then transferred to Baton Rouge Cargo on 09-11-2024. I received no calls or emails or any form of contact from Baton Rouge for a week about delivering my package. On 09-17-2024 I tracked my package down to Baton Rouge Cargo and called them and was told, after waiting on hold, that they could not deliver it for another ten days meaning that they had my package in their warehouse for 16 days. On the 25th I was called by Baton Rouge and told they now could not deliver it on the 27th but would call me back with a new delivery date. Two hours later I called back to find out where my package was and was told after 16 days they now realize they wouldn’t have a truck available but would call me right back. Waiting until the next day, the 26th of September, I called them again and was told they couldn’t get my package that was ordered three weeks prior to me so another company was now going to pick it up from them. I had one phone from them over almost 2.5 weeks while they sat on this box that belongs to me. Promised calls back with no calls and changed plans around with family in town to receive this box only to be told last minute that they couldn’t deliver freight, which is their only job. It shouldn’t take a freight company 16 days to decide they can’t do their job.

    After three weeks the shuffleboard table I had ordered was transferred to another carrier.  I canceled the order in the meantime due to Baton Rouge Frieghts extremely poor customer service and lack of communication.  The new delivery company delivered it anyway and the item came damaged and left in the middle,of my driveway blocking my garage.   It weighed close to 300 pounds and caused us to not be able to get into or out of our garage until we were able to remove it with the help of friends.   The fact that they have not responded to the BBB on this complaint should be reason enough to show just a little of what I went through with this company.   Look up reviews on line.   All 1 star reviews.

    On October 19, 2023, at approximately 10:30 am, a delivery driver for Baton Rouge Cargo; ****** *******, delivered a carport to my home and caused damage to my brand-new ABSCO Premier Steel Shed. This shed was just purchased on September 23, 2023, and was just put together over the weekend. We have not even had a chance to use it and paid 500.00 in labor to have it installed.

    The incident happened when the driver and his partner attempted to place the item
    in the shed. The item fell on its left side so hard it completely knocked the left side
    door off the hinges and on to the ground and knocked the foundation blocks out from under the shed. In addition, the door frame is bent and there are multiple dings and damage to the doors and building. The doors cannot be reattached without building a new frame.

    While still at my residence and in the presence of my wife, Mr. ******* called his dispatch and explained the incident and provided my wife with the dispatch name of *** and told my wife to email a claim to Baton Rouge Cargo and stated that the company will also file a claim. My wife was told by *** that it will take approximately 90 days for the claim to be settled. We have called *** several times and told that she does not have any information and to email the claims department, which we have several times but have not received a response.

    We ordered a Bull grill from ****** and paid for the product in full ($3700).* ** outsourced the deliveries (2 separately deliveries for the 1 order) to BR Cargo, and BR Cargo has only delivered 1 of them (last 4 tracking digits - 3879) & They "claim" they delivered the 2nd delivery yesterday (10/11) but they Did Not. I signed for the 1st delivery on Tuesday (10/10) but they are thieves and liars and have not delivered the actual grill (last 4 digits tracking - 4013). I have already filed grievances with ****** & **** and Baton Rouge Cargoneeds to deliver our grill! How are we supposed to grill on a cart bottom!?. They are pathetic.

    As stated in previous communications, ****** the carrier that was bringing your 2nd shipment to us to for final delivery, had given us the wrong shipment in place of yours.  They recovered that shipment from us but have not replaced that with your correct shipment. We are working with ***** and *** to find resolution. 

    To this point, we haven't claimed to have delivered the 2nd piece.  Also, ***** has been dealing with a nationwide outage for the last 2 weeks that is causing further issues with getting this resolved.  We will provide updates as they come available.  It may be faster for ****** to send out a replacement and we have requested that as well.
